how come you can take your kid to the dentist and get over 20 million hits and this only has over 200 thousand hits? People need to get their priorities together... morons.
I think it is a lot of misunderstanding on these comments. People may say "He make me want to quit guitar.." - Yeah, that means that this guy is extremely good, and they joke around and say they don't want to play guitar because they never can get this good. Don't know if you understood me right, but yeah..
Try to learn the beginning of drifting by andy mckee, then learn the v1 to these moments, after all that, try to learn the beginning of the four hands guitar, then youll have mastered their technique. Just try it out
@quizking109 That is a load of bollocks, you will in no way have mastered their technique. You will have brushed the surface of how they play, you aren't going to master the playing style of such amazing guitarists by learning a small part of three fingerstyle songs.
I really wish people were introduced to this beauty instead of this horrible thing people call music nowadays. Not only is this guy way more technical, talented and skilled than 100% of hip hop and rap artists, it's so beautiful and he puts so much passion and love in his music, and that's not something you can train yourself to have, it's either there or it's not.
The guys at Candyrat inspired me to start playing the guitar in the first place. Why would they make me want to quit? I guess everytime I hear any of them, I'm torn between writing stories and practicing musical intruments... So I've managed to do both, using songs I've written while practicing as inspiration for my stories, and while the songs aren't as good as these, the stories show their true inspiration from here, always doing the songs justice. It's not a hobby, it's a life.
does the hankerchief that he put to the guitar add any effect or is it just for show ajajaaj im gonna try it out ... :) these guys are really inspiring Antoine and Andy are my favorites!!
@romancasco If you check out his Q&A videos he tells you specifically why its there and what it does. They do look cool, I got one on my Telecaster for no dam reason hahah. Just looks different. Its black and white and goes great with the black body and white pickguard.
Ah, silly people. These guys upload videos to try and inspire everyone, not to make them want to quit. They're showing us that with a little time and determination, you can really get places, like being able to play as good as him.
@DPAnderson2010 Let's put it this way: I searched for Antoine Dufour, not Candyrat. So there is at least some degree of advertising for Candyrat provided by Dufour.
i dont get why people want to quit playing guitar after listening to the guys from candyrat hearing them always inspires me to want to play that much more. but i guess thats just me
@fredhelp2 It's because people make everything a competition and after watching they realize that they won't put the effort to become that good and therefore get frustrated, they think it's sports or something i guess and that if you aren't world class you shall give up playing.
@Julien1345 i get where youre coming from, but i also play sports, and its probably just me but not being that good is just motivation to get better. thats how ive progressed in guitar as well as sports.
@fredhelp2 i just play and don't think to much about that, and after a half year or so one realizes like, oh i've really progressed ^^ i used to practice a lot but know i just play and become better as a side effect without thinking about it. The most important is to enjoy music and to not put pressure on oneself but instead just relax cause thats what it is about, of course a beginner has to practice so he can play songs he enjoys.
@fredhelp2 Not just you, I've learned to play multiple songs by both Andy McKee and Antoine Dufour (obviously nowhere near as well as these guys do) and I've never enjoyed playing guitar more in my life!
@fredhelp2 I honestly said pretty much those same words on one of his other videos where people would joke that they were gonna quit playing guitar. I've been playing for two years and hope to one day be as good as him and Andy McKee.
@fredhelp2 you re right. everyone who wants to learn it can learn it. you just have to practise, practise and practise. nobody was born as a guitarist or dancer or whatever. so nothing is impossible if you believe in it ;)
