I've probably watched this video 20 times in the last few days. There's something wonderful about this song- it's really beautiful in a profound, understated way. Jordan Rudess is the Mozart, the Bach of our time. What a man. I hope he never stops making music.

It's not the mic which makes his voice so strange, he uses the Roland VP-550 (as shown) to steer his voice, because if you look he isn't playing the piano as you hear in the background, he's just playing with his voice actually.
