The gallup Poll is inconsistent since it omits those who do not support McCain and his lack of pure inspiration. He takes the inspiration of others and tries to make them his own.
"Obama leads in key states and the most recent Gallup Poll daily tracking survey, released Wednesday, showed Obama expanding his lead over McCain to 11 percentage points, his largest advantage since the organization began testing voter opinions in their matchup early in the summer."
Eleven percentage points!!! What was that about USA Today/Gallup was rigged to favor McCain? Where are the facts?
Forget it. Just got to get out and VOTE. Of course, even voting doesn't matter. Remember the "hanging chads"? Being an American has become a real embarrassment.
Rednecks are not about to vote for a blk man named Barrack HUSSIEN Obama. I dnt care what the polls say
Unless blk, hispanic & youth turn out is historic & astronomical Obama will lose. Period.
Rednecks will come out in force to make sure the white house stays WHITE. If this election was about issues Obama would be up 15-20%. There is obviously a racial component but no one is about to admit it in public of course.
well ....... i honestly don't expect any black people to vote for mccain. and not 'cuz he's a republican either dude. i don't call them racist. i live in chicago & am unimpresed w/obama. does that make ME a racist??

sorry i'm 53 my life didnt start on 9/11. brings to mind an old movie "the mouse that roared". more americans are killed by terrorist tactics from fellow americans than bin laden could ever dream of. death is death, don't get caught up in the "marketing of death"
if i would say that there are people(here) in the usa that train little kids to be god soldiers and to grow up and prepare for battle against non believers and abortion proponents would you believe me?
you should consider believing this guy!i'm not surprised of anything in this country!
ps:the answer to the first question is YES!the prove? this video watch?v=-i4bDIdEKRw
please watch all of it before judging it's validity
no, not at all. im just saying put it in perspective. the truth is before 9/11 and after 9/11 the chances of an american dying as a result of a terrorist attack are very slim. whereas we have other issues we could focus on that would make everyone's quality of life a whole lot better.
ggullet. Good point I agree with u. Clinton should have seen 9/11 coming when USS Cole was bombed by Al Q and he should have got Osama handed over to him when he was asked if he wanted him.
we can go back to the first barbery war if you wanna play that game. i believe whatever happens on a presidents watch is their responsibility. thats why we elect them to take charge and take responsibilty, good, bad or ugly
Ok, I will agree with you for the sake of this arguement that Gallup is changing its methodes for its polls so that they favor McCain...
If fox news ran a poll and it said McCain is favored by 25%, no one would care, because it is fox news running an internal poll that will likly not be accurate.
I guess what I am getting at is that the blame is on the other media outlets for respecting the poll, rather than on Gallup for changing their criteria.
Z, A common women in Iraq is now allowed to make more free choices without getting her head cut off. Innocent citizens dieing is a sad reality of war. Millions of innocent people died in WW II. But freedom stood and we're not speaking German now and we have the freedom to blog to hearts content. Yes sucker punched. U don't agree we got sucker punched on 9/11? The war is with Al Q. Yes they are fleeing Iraq. Cause we are kicking their butt. But we still have to stabilize the country.
sucker punch indicates caught off guard. we had plenty of warning, this punch was telegraphed to continue the analogy. this was a "everything we got punch" which got through our defenses. i dare say if we had changed nothing after 9/11 and used the policys that were already in place the result would be the same, sans the death, destruction, loss of civil rights, waste of money....
question, how do you wage war against a millitary tatic? which is what terrorism is. any thinking person knows that you can defeat an organization but you will never defeat resistance.
ggullet, That is true but Al Q is over in Iraq now. I know they weren't there before. So u can respectfully save ur words. But whether u agree or not that we shouldn't have attacked Iraq. The fact is they are there now so its better to fight them over there than get sucker punched again. Theys guys don't have a country so we got to fight them where ever they appear. Were the USA we can do it. We can win. We have to stay on the offensive. Al Q has been tobusyfightingoverthertosuckerpunchagain.
i disagree, when the war first started yes there was a free for all everybody with a beef against america go to iraq mentality, but al q has never been the biggest problem in iraq even though the media made it seem so, and now they have been completetly marginalized, and not by the surge, just a natural progression of killing. but what bothers me most is when mccain says he knows iraq is the central front on the terror war because "bin laden say's so"
One poll follows the other is simply not true. All of the polls base their research independently. Take Democracy Corps for example (founded by James Carville, a liberal). No where on his site does he say he follows suit with Gallup. They do their own research.
Now, that is not to say your beef with Gallup is without merit but it is incorrect to be suggesting that how Gallup goes so do the rest of the polls. There is no evidence.
Good come back ggullet. I respect that point. But the answer is in ur question. "There are only 224 deaths a year from terrorism". Why is that. Could it be the government and our soldiers have done a fantastic job of protecting us for the past 7 years? There is a price for freedom and that price went up on 9/11 my friend. Sad to say but true.
that might be a logical conclusion accept for one fact, the bulk of that 500 bil price tag is spent on the iraq war, no american citizen has ever been killed here by an iraqi terrorist.
""There are only 224 deaths a year from terrorism". Why is that. Could it be the government and our soldiers have done a fantastic job of protecting us for the past 7 years?"
No it can't be that. NOT at all, why do I assume this line of reasoning" Because if the soldiers are ANYTHING like the morons on YouTube (which most likely they are given their ages). The like YouTubers, they're none-too-smart and like a particular dullard in this thread probably refers to females as "He" right alec?
Z, I do have an opposing view but I hate racists that make stupid comments also. They hurt the conservative cause. Aboveall, its plain wrong. I just want get a glimple into the liberal mind and see if I am missing something.
That sorry President got elected twice and your only explanation is they stole it from us. Can't be that people were worried about further attacks and knew Bush would protect them better than Kerry. Put up somebody thats got some sand to protect us. Not Gore, Kerry or Obama and maybe you'll win one.
by protect i assume you mean protect our lives. fact. there are 500,000 deaths a year from cancer, which we spend 5 billion in research on. there are 224 yes 224 deaths a year from terrorism, which we spend 500 billion a year on. whose protecting us?
ggullet is already vested in a loss for Obama. Whinning about stealing elections. Libs are on the run. Know they are going down but can't believe there are that many people out there that feel McCain will be a better president. So they got to whine and blame the referee. The tone of the Obama supporters has changed in the last 2 weeks. No corination here so let's whine some more. There stealing our corination Boo WHOOO!
who would vote for a man that thinks the economy is fundamentally sound and then try to clean it up by saying workers are the fundaments of a good economy? that's not putting country first by any stretch of the imagination, that's party first.
looks like they're going for the steal in mich this time, by disallowing votes of people who are in default with their home loans (60% black), sound like florida? ohio?
There it is. "2 stolen elections". Liberal whinning when they don't win an election. You are setting the stage again to whine if Obama doesn't get his coronation. "Unwinable war." You are a joke left over from the 60's. Even Obama admitted he was wrong and that the surge is working. A republican president has protected your butts since 9/11. It may be the only thing he has done but that's pretty important wouldn't u say. Clinton had Osama and let him go.
not whinning just stating proven facts. I was quoting gen. patreus who said there could never be a point when we could say we won the war. if he were protecting our butts there would never have been a 9/11, remember the briefing entitled "bin laden determined to attack in america". I guess you were to busy having a beer with this incompetent sorry excuse for a president.
thanks for the info. lets see, 2 stolen elections (only the blind cant see that),the worst attack on american soil in history,2 of the biggest wall street losses in recent history, american citizens turned into refugees (still), an unwinable war, erosion of constitutional rights,etc,etc,etc...and we're supposed to believe these clowns have 50% of america behind them.polls are for band wagon jumpers to lazy to think. My country is not that ignorant, this will be a landslide victory for Obama/Biden
Whoa..."where the Gallup goes, other polls go." That is speculation on your part and you presented no facts to that claim. Media outlets may report on the Gallup poll but the 12 polls I am referring to gather their own information.
Today's Gallup Poll has McCain leading Obama 47% to 46%. With the typical margin of error the race is a dead heat. The truth of the matter is that the days where Obama was killing McCain in polls are over.
How does the Gallup Poll gather its results? How many people get polled? I'm talking about whether the polls favor McCain or Obama period. I have never been asked for my input on the street or on my cell phone or home phone.
Also I would like to say that u do have some sand for keeping right wing views on ur blog. This is fun. Should I stay or do you want to point me to a right wing blog? I am new at this.
This is a bitch and moan video. When Obama was ahead in the polls there was silence now that he is behind there is moaning. I suggest you be a man like all of us and suck it up. People just need to vote and stop worrying about polls being unfair or rigged.
The solution is to: 1. ignore the polls or assume that Obama is 10 points behind. 2. organize at the grassroots level to get new voters registered. 3. Get them all to the polls on election day.
Of course they're going to release crappy polls. Fox News is notorious for this.
Did you get your talking points from Huffington Post? In Sept. McCain has been leading in 6 of the commonly referenced 12 polls. In 3 of the polls they are tied and in the other 3 Obama is leading. The 12 polls I'm referring to are: Newsweek Democracy Corps (D) AP FOX/Opinion Dynamics Ipsos/McClatchy American Research Group NBC/Wall Street Journal ABC/Washington Post CNN/Opinion Research USA Today/Gallup IBD/TIPP CBS News
bmcguire80 is already setting the stage for a whinning video about how the election was stolen. You guys do think this is a coronation. Otherwise why would u use the word steal? Typical elitist. This is a democracy. The people decide. If Obama wins, congratualations. I'll be happy for u. The country will still survive either way and we all know it. I won't whine about it being stolen or rigged. Or threaten to move to Canada. Or say "how can 100 million people be this stupid."
Zennie, I believe they rig these polls so that it looks like it's super close on election day, and is thus plausibly stealable. There's a certain margin beyond which they probably wouldn't think they could get away with it.
Every recent poll that came out yesterday has it pretty much even. You guys think there all biased? If Obama was up it wouldn't be an issue. This isn't a coronation guys. You are trying to will this thing and that doesn't help. u just come off as typical whinning liberals. Ur running scared now. Trying to dig up dirt with Kevin. That wasn't news. MSNBC and Keith O didn't even cover it. When Obama loses there will be another whinning video about how the election was rigged.
Babyfran05 "I have little faith in the ability of undecided voters". That's a prime example of how liberals think. They think they know what's better for u than u do. What a statement. What a slap in the face of independent voters. That kind of thinking is what is pushing independent voters to the rep ticket. Polls are not biased. Z cited the biggest liberal blog there is. Do u have any thoughts of ur own. Oh, that's right somebody has to tell u how to think.
alecjames4 so if the blog's conservative, they ignore the truth, right? That's what your post implies if you consider the logic of the text versus what I reported. You did not attack the methodology thus rendering it correct and unchalleged. Polls are biased. To think otherwise is purely foolish and will get you laughed at big time.
you're right as usual zennie. i worry that these skewed poll results could influence the fence sitters. i have little faith in the ability of undecided voters to make up their own minds. maybe that's the point of a rig.

I hear that polls are taken from voters who have voted in the previous election. It is also done by polling people who have land lines only.
Is this true? If it is I would like to see a poll of first time registered voters.
Also younger people are choosing to carry cell phones and land lines are becoming obsolete. How would that factor in polls.
I think exit polls are the most accurate. If that is skewed you know the election is rigged.

isn't that racism

You feel that way now because its been 7 years. Don't kid yourself. There is danger out there. We can never get laxed.

sorry i'm 53 my life didnt start on 9/11. brings to mind an old movie "the mouse that roared". more americans are killed by terrorist tactics from fellow americans than bin laden could ever dream of. death is death, don't get caught up in the "marketing of death"

if i would say that there are people(here) in the usa that train little kids to be god soldiers and to grow up and prepare for battle against non believers and abortion proponents would you believe me?
you should consider believing this guy!i'm not surprised of anything in this country!
ps:the answer to the first question is YES!the prove? this video watch?v=-i4bDIdEKRw

So your saying let them run all over us? Do nothing cause there will always be resistence?
alecjames4 3 years ago
no, not at all. im just saying put it in perspective. the truth is before 9/11 and after 9/11 the chances of an american dying as a result of a terrorist attack are very slim. whereas we have other issues we could focus on that would make everyone's quality of life a whole lot better.
ggullet 3 years ago
ggullet. Good point I agree with u. Clinton should have seen 9/11 coming when USS Cole was bombed by Al Q and he should have got Osama handed over to him when he was asked if he wanted him.
alecjames4 3 years ago
we can go back to the first barbery war if you wanna play that game. i believe whatever happens on a presidents watch is their responsibility. thats why we elect them to take charge and take responsibilty, good, bad or ugly
ggullet 3 years ago
Lez, Sorry about calling u he. Just an oversight. No need to get all bent. How do u know I am a guy? I could be Alecia James.
alecjames4 3 years ago
Lez, Are u not agreeing that our soldiers are doing a fantastic job? Are u calling our soldiers morons? Please clarify.
alecjames4 3 years ago

But we still have to stabilize the country.
alecjames4 3 years ago
sucker punch indicates caught off guard. we had plenty of warning, this punch was telegraphed to continue the analogy. this was a "everything we got punch" which got through our defenses. i dare say if we had changed nothing after 9/11 and used the policys that were already in place the result would be the same, sans the death, destruction, loss of civil rights, waste of money....
ggullet 3 years ago
question, how do you wage war against a millitary tatic? which is what terrorism is. any thinking person knows that you can defeat an organization but you will never defeat resistance.
ggullet 3 years ago
ggullet, That is true but Al Q is over in Iraq now. Al Q has been tobusyfightingoverthertosuckerpunchagain.
alecjames4 3 years ago
i disagree, when the war first started yes there was a free for all everybody with a beef against america go to iraq mentality, but al q has never been the biggest problem in iraq even though the media made it seem so, and now they have been completetly marginalized, and not by the surge, just a natural progression of killing. but what bothers me most is when mccain says he knows iraq is the central front on the terror war because "bin laden say's so"
ggullet 3 years ago
One poll follows the other is simply not true. All of the polls base their research independently. Take Democracy Corps for example (founded by James Carville, a liberal). No where on his site does he say he follows suit with Gallup. They do their own research.
Now, that is not to say your beef with Gallup is without merit but it is incorrect to be suggesting that how Gallup goes so do the rest of the polls. There is no evidence.
droman30 3 years ago
Good come back ggullet. I respect that point. But the answer is in ur question. "There are only 224 deaths a year from terrorism". Why is that. Could it be the government and our soldiers have done a fantastic job of protecting us for the past 7 years? There is a price for freedom and that price went up on 9/11 my friend. Sad to say but true.
alecjames4 3 years ago
that might be a logical conclusion accept for one fact, the bulk of that 500 bil price tag is spent on the iraq war, no american citizen has ever been killed here by an iraqi terrorist.
ggullet 3 years ago
""There are only 224 deaths a year from terrorism". Why is that. Could it be the government and our soldiers have done a fantastic job of protecting us for the past 7 years?"
No it can't be that. NOT at all, why do I assume this line of reasoning" Because if the soldiers are ANYTHING like the morons on YouTube (which most likely they are given their ages). The like YouTubers, they're none-too-smart and like a particular dullard in this thread probably refers to females as "He" right alec?
lezxotic 3 years ago
Z, I do have an opposing view but I hate racists that make stupid comments also. They hurt the conservative cause. Aboveall, its plain wrong. I just want get a glimple into the liberal mind and see if I am missing something.
alecjames4 3 years ago
Her is my question. Will u guys dispute the integrity of the election if Obama losses? I won't dispute the validity if McCain losses.
alecjames4 3 years ago
That sorry President got elected twice and your only explanation is they stole it from us. Can't be that people were worried about further attacks and knew Bush would protect them better than Kerry. Put up somebody thats got some sand to protect us. Not Gore, Kerry or Obama and maybe you'll win one.
alecjames4 3 years ago
by protect i assume you mean protect our lives. fact. there are 500,000 deaths a year from cancer, which we spend 5 billion in research on. there are 224 yes 224 deaths a year from terrorism, which we spend 500 billion a year on. whose protecting us?
ggullet 3 years ago
Agreed. Polls are useless information.
Obama is gonna win handily in my opinion. He's the common sense vote, like I've said many times.
millmatic 3 years ago
ggullet is already vested in a loss for Obama. Whinning about stealing elections. Libs are on the run. Know they are going down but can't believe there are that many people out there that feel McCain will be a better president. So they got to whine and blame the referee. The tone of the Obama supporters has changed in the last 2 weeks. No corination here so let's whine some more. There stealing our corination Boo WHOOO!
alecjames4 3 years ago
don't you just love people like "alecjames4" whinning about people whinning...would you like some cheese with that?
ggullet 3 years ago
who would vote for a man that thinks the economy is fundamentally sound and then try to clean it up by saying workers are the fundaments of a good economy? that's not putting country first by any stretch of the imagination, that's party first.
looks like they're going for the steal in mich this time, by disallowing votes of people who are in default with their home loans (60% black), sound like florida? ohio?
ggullet 3 years ago
There it is. "2 stolen elections". Liberal whinning when they don't win an election. You are setting the stage again to whine if Obama doesn't get his coronation. "Unwinable war." You are a joke left over from the 60's. Even Obama admitted he was wrong and that the surge is working. A republican president has protected your butts since 9/11. It may be the only thing he has done but that's pretty important wouldn't u say. Clinton had Osama and let him go.
alecjames4 3 years ago
not whinning just stating proven facts. I was quoting gen. patreus who said there could never be a point when we could say we won the war. if he were protecting our butts there would never have been a 9/11, remember the briefing entitled "bin laden determined to attack in america". I guess you were to busy having a beer with this incompetent sorry excuse for a president.
ggullet 3 years ago
ALL HELL BREAKING LOOSE?? and these polls suggest 50% of the people are behind McCAIN???.... CORRUPTED!!
bostonkalloway 3 years ago
thanks for the info. lets see, 2 stolen elections (only the blind cant see that),the worst attack on american soil in history,2 of the biggest wall street losses in recent history, american citizens turned into refugees (still), an unwinable war, erosion of constitutional rights,etc,etc,etc...and we're supposed to believe these clowns have 50% of america behind them.polls are for band wagon jumpers to lazy to think. My country is not that ignorant, this will be a landslide victory for Obama/Biden
ggullet 3 years ago
that is to say, "mainland america"
ggullet 3 years ago
Whoa..."where the Gallup goes, other polls go." That is speculation on your part and you presented no facts to that claim. Media outlets may report on the Gallup poll but the 12 polls I am referring to gather their own information.
Today's Gallup Poll has McCain leading Obama 47% to 46%. With the typical margin of error the race is a dead heat. The truth of the matter is that the days where Obama was killing McCain in polls are over.
droman30 3 years ago
How does the Gallup Poll gather its results? How many people get polled? I'm talking about whether the polls favor McCain or Obama period. I have never been asked for my input on the street or on my cell phone or home phone.

Amen sanco!
alecjames4 3 years ago
This is a bitch and moan video. When Obama was ahead in the polls there was silence now that he is behind there is moaning. I suggest you be a man like all of us and suck it up. People just need to vote and stop worrying about polls being unfair or rigged.
sancochojoe 3 years ago
The solution is to: 1. ignore the polls or assume that Obama is 10 points behind. 2. organize at the grassroots level to get new voters registered. 3. Get them all to the polls on election day.
Of course they're going to release crappy polls. Fox News is notorious for this.
westphalianprinz 3 years ago
In other words, whether you like it or not (I don't) McCain is back in this race.

bmcguire80 is already setting the stage for a whinning video about how the election was stolen. Or say "how can 100 million people be this stupid."
alecjames4 3 years ago
Zennie, I believe they rig these polls so that it looks like it's super close on election day, and is thus plausibly stealable. There's a certain margin beyond which they probably wouldn't think they could get away with it.
bmcguire80 3 years ago
Every recent poll that came out yesterday has it pretty much even. You guys think there all biased? If Obama was up it wouldn't be an issue. This isn't a coronation guys. You are trying to will this thing and that doesn't help. u just come off as typical whinning liberals. Ur running scared now. Trying to dig up dirt with Kevin. That wasn't news. MSNBC and Keith O didn't even cover it. When Obama loses there will be another whinning video about how the election was rigged.
alecjames4 3 years ago
Babyfran05 "I have little faith in the ability of undecided voters". That's a prime example of how liberals think. They think they know what's better for u than u do. What a statement. What a slap in the face of independent voters. That kind of thinking is what is pushing independent voters to the rep ticket. Polls are not biased. Z cited the biggest liberal blog there is. Do u have any thoughts of ur own. Oh, that's right somebody has to tell u how to think.
alecjames4 3 years ago
alecjames4 so if the blog's conservative, they ignore the truth, right? That's what your post implies if you consider the logic of the text versus what I reported. You did not attack the methodology thus rendering it correct and unchalleged. Polls are biased. To think otherwise is purely foolish and will get you laughed at big time.
ZennieAbraham 3 years ago
Hey alec, this story of the Gallup problem is wide-spread. Why not accept the truth? Also "polls are not biased"? HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
bauerpurerush 3 years ago
I hope you're right Z. I pray that people wake up from this.
TeleShaman 3 years ago
you're right as usual zennie. i worry that these skewed poll results could influence the fence sitters. i have little faith in the ability of undecided voters to make up their own minds. maybe that's the point of a rig.
