  • This is the most informative thing I have ever seen...

  • Usually, through these rig videos, we meet dopey guitar guys. This man is worthy of the title "Tech".

  • Wow !

  • Saw a pic long ago with Joe Perry and a double neck Rich Bich. Neal Moser told us the time he designed and offered a Rich Bich to both Joe and Brad Whitford, and you can see those on the Live Bootleg LP! Neal Moser tells us he got a front row seat to the gig. Brad stopped playing BCs after a stint with just Eagles. ( BC's more mild shape)

  • serious crankage..

  • Joe Perry is hott!!

  • You know why I came here, in 78 I wanted to be Joe perry. I play; a little. I have my 18 year old Son working guitars now, he's a natural; soon to surpass me. I want to build him a sound. Joe's rig is amazing, no question. I'm so lame compared to you guys. What did Joe start out with, when he was just Joe? What can I build for my son on a budget, some basic quality sound, in the $2,000.00 range? Thank you Aerosmith, and your techs. Thanks for the memories.

  • @badalice07 One of those old Marshalls and a few stomp boxes, Joe had a whole range of effects, but now you can use something like the POD and emulate the same sounds in one EFX box

  • @badalice07 personally i'd recommend a JCM (800 or 900) Marshall either an american Strat or Les Paul Studio and a Line 6 M6. and whatever you have left, be his bands driver lol

  • WHAT A RIG!

  • ITS BERY GOD GUITAR PERRY

  • 7:04 Back in the STABLE!? wtf!?

  • Farty and delicious...

  • He reminds me of Alice Cooper...

  • @Aerosmitty77 He reminds me of Todd Rundgren.

  • That was cool

  • Way to go Trace :) Awesome

  • Trace is awesome, he has taught my daughter Jazmin how to play the guitar.

  • 7:48........back plate on an esquire?

  • @chinesecantdrive to make it feel like a strat i guess

  • @chinesecantdrive his tech probably put it there to make it easier to do work on

  • @chinesecantdrive Jeff back put one on the original sometime in the 70's so Joe has it as well on his relic. I think that under it is a deep chip.

  • @Djarra thanks, it was driving me crazy.

  • Where can I get the siren pedal Joe uses? Or is it a custom built pedal?

  • Wow Joe Perry use G-Lab pedals

  • its kind of emmbarrisssing that joe does not use anything exept for a slide from dunlop

  • @sk8rnirvana and the JH wah too.

  • @sk8rnirvana hendrix wah, heil talkbox

  • @Botdra i second that, he's one cool dude

  • 4:44 "farty and delicious", bad choice of words Kehoe

  • I wonder who manufactures that police sirin pedal he was talking about? That would be great to stomp on something that sounds like the cops are comin!

  • i know trace!

  • yeah this is the ritch bitch onthe bc rich xD

  • @gixxer6000 The BC Rich Bich designed in 1977 by Neal Moser working on a model 10 string for his own personal use, he offered the design to Bernie and in a few days, as they say, the rest is HISTORY, the Bich he's showing is a re-done recreation of Joe's original, lacking the binding and inlays, as well, it was just plain red paint back then!
