To hear about a fatality like this makes me want to cry and vommit at the same time. this is something you hear about in movies( Final Destination, saw etc..) but for something like this to happen in real life is unacceptable and i really think if anything can be done about this then something should be done. They show people climbing out of elevators all of the time on TV. She must have been a real go-getter. I mean that, seriously! I, myself would rather not just wait around but if this happens to me, I will! Sympathy to her family, friends, and coworkers.
it's sad that she died and all, but come on this was an accident that didn't have to happen. who even tries to escape elevators without waiting for assistance first. it's ridiculous and stupid, that was completely irresponsible on her part.
I attend CSULB. I heard about this through word-of-mouth and through a mass email to students and faculty to notify us about an accidental fatality. At the time, there were few details about the incident; now, hearing the descriptive details about what really happened is horrifying. Thoughts and prayers go out to that faculty member and her family and friends. I know her name, but I will not give it out. This is a freak accident. :/

I work in the foundation building on the 3rd floor at cal state, very unfortunate. strange to say i was in that elevator the night before.
