Vijay, What a beautiful voice you have!!! I saw the original in theater. I like this version better. English portion making it extra oridinary and excellent. Vijay's voice exactly like Dasettan's 70s. I like Prithi's dance. It is similar to old hollywood style. Some mallus can't digest it. May be it takes another 25 years. There is no doubt Prithvi is a good actor and popular. I saw his urumi, Indian rupee, manikya kallu, pokkiri raja, Robinhood, Classmates, Nandhanam, thalappav, anwar, snehakoodu, chocolate etc. I didn't see any problem with his acting. Infact, he is the best actor compare to other actors in the twenties and thirties. There are three type people. Some hate him because of jealous, some compare him with Mammookka and Lalettan, and others have grudge against him because he lied about his marriage.
my last comment here.........everybody's so worried about this rajappans ego and his attitude............who cares????? i dont care a bit!!.he came in at a time when i was was fed up with our cinemas with the pot bellied commando and the police officer who couldnt run !!! as a normal young film viewer this rajappan guy is giving me my moneys worth...something which i dont get watching the 'great' actors of our industry play lover boys with 20 year old girls.....
This re-mix is the only song & scene, from the entire movie, that's worth a watch, but here too Rajappan did bit of an over acting, but still adjustable for the song.

Deepak took the original diamond and put in the beautifully carved, very shiny golden jewelry box (added English portion, most modern western style). That is the reason this song stand out from other remix songs. This song give the satisfaction of listening Indian and Western same time.

I love this superb song. I heard the original 27 years ago. The modified version is so beautiful. I heared this at least 1000 times and I feel like to dance every time I hear it. Vijay, you are excellent as usual. I like your tamil songs especially mazhayudir kalam, thindaruden, balle lakka, arupadai, Muzhumathi, sutta suriyane, davanipotta devavali, oru malayoram and more.
