  • I'm Cuban but raised in Miami so I could say this is an amazing salsa performance and stop hating they're from Hialeah were most of the Cuban population out of the island is so I think they know their stuff. #JustSaying

  • i like it and i dont care if its fucking cuban or not. so stop hating.

  • Its not cuban, its much better! I guess people don't see the emotion cuz their not drunk in a club. Stop hating to all.

  • Partner dancing is so poorly represented on TV - this isn't as bad as the recent 'Argentinian Tango' in the Strictly Come Dancing final though, nothing beats that for inaccuracy. It's really sad that millions of people glued to the idiot box, believe it to be real!

  • These are some ballroom crackers...=/

  • This is not the Cuban.. =/

  • This is not the Cuban.. =/

  • This is not cuban..

  • Look okay people its strictly not typical cuban style salsa lets be honest. But as dancers once thing we must learn to do is appreciate what other dancers do irrespective of the genre/dance style. Cuban style is my preferred dance but still a decent performance from both dancers. I guess thats my personal opinion

  • @mantrongbone What I think is that people dislike the fact that those performances, even if they are technically interresting, are closer from circus dance, whith an impression of a show toward the jury.......than a couple dancing together.

  • Grupo Niche is from colombia, no way is fron cuba!!

  • Grupo Niche is from colombia, no way is fron cuba!!

  • SHE'S FUCKING HOT! TIME TO FAP I SAY!!

  • she is such a beautiful artist............

  • This pisses me off THIS ISN'T CUBAN i'm from La Havana,Cuba & BOTH of my parents are Teachers in CUBAN style dancing. This is some AMERICAN BullShit

    && the song's puerto rican..

  • Nice performance but not cuban salsa. The song is colombian and the dance does not even resembles to cuban style.

  • the group that sings this song is N'Klabe from Puerto Rico, not Grupo Niche.. Or maybe they did it first and this is a remake.

  • Still a nice performance but I'm in agreement with jlewi31 and otomis2000. This is not Cuban salsa. Too many fancy tricks and it's not "raw" or "natural". Very rehearsed for a "crowdpleasing" experience. I felt no emotion.

  • please..don't call it "cuban"...

  • remember this is a dance for a show, so they want to see more tricks, but some of those tricks he did are cuban, like when he hold her head with his leg and back....the good thing about salsa is that you can add and subtract to it, except that flying in the air thing that looked more like cheerleading, neither the less it was a good performance.

  • ugh. soooooo NOT Cuban salsa.. I guess someone who has not seen real Casino (Cuban salsa) might call this "amazing" and "superb", but it lacks the soul of Casino!

  • HATERS!!!!

  • Go cuba! Bueno, Hialeah's got talent. ;)

  • Salsa is from Cuba 100% that does not mean that other country dont sing or dance salsa but its is 100% cuban...

  • OK people. 1st: This blows. 2nd: Its not Cuban, its L.A. Style. 3rd: The song is by Grupo Niche, a Colombian group. 4th: What we call "salsa" started in Cuba &/or Puerto Rico as "Son" then "Mambo". There is some debate but since Cuba & PR consider themselves "two wings of the same bird" I believe it evolved concomitantly. The rhythms African, the language Spanish, the instruments European. It started with islands folk, moved to NYC, & spread worldwide. Search for Cuban Salsa. Watch & learn.

  • @otomis2000 The song is I Love Salsa by N'Klabe.

  • @otomis2000 The song is I love salsa, is not? fron Nklabe youtube.com/watch?v=Tkt205NggJA&ob=av3e

  • Beautiful!!! its cuban salsa but more comm3ercialized for tv, but still wonderful....

  • Salsa is great , but i feel all Salsa is heavily rooted in AFRICA.

  • circoooooo du solei jajaja

  • Why are people trippin? It's salsa, it's not salsa. Who cares? It's HOT!

  • That's not cuban salsa! That's salsa LA style. But they dance perfect no doubt

  • @SalsadanceUkraine Salsa is from Cuba... so is mambo, rumba, cha cha cha, guaguanco, conga, timba etc... Salsa is a 100% Cuban

  • @Qbano21 Salsa is a 100% Cuban? But what you say for example about Puerto Rico salsa?

  • This aint dancing, this is acrobatics. Coool, but not salsa

  • gosh those legs !!!!

  • This is more LA style salsa rather than Cuban.

  • i love it :D but... it isnt cuban -_- im sry.. its true though visit cuba, pr, colombia etc... they noo how to dance :D

  • This isn't Cuban salsa... It's barely even salsa at all.

  • More acrobatics than Salsa dancing, if you ask me. Great moves though and that woman is very elastic in her moves. She must be a former gymnast. What a body control.

  • Not Cuban at all... this is much more technical than cuban salsa.

  • I'm Cuban and this is not Cuban style at all...

  • This is nothing close to Cuban style Salsa. This is LA on1 performance Salsa.

  • check my channel yall and help support canadian music production

  • que carajo eso? thats not salsa thats throwing and catching lol.

  • just because she can spin and do tricks does not mean she is salsa-ing well... it is impressive, but that definetely is NOT Cuban salsa... shes good but is still pretty floppy and anyone that knows salsa knows her ladies styling is way off especially with the hands. Look up any salsa competition and the difference is noticeable

  • grandiiiiiii!!!!

  • Great job guys. Show them how to do the salsa, Cuba.

  • that was impressive.. but no cuban salsa..

  • problem 1: song is puerto rican

problem 2: i am from camaguey...no one in cuba dances like that...or even close to like that

  • watching a salsa dance when the female dancer has flowing dark hair makes it seem more romantic, original and classic, to me.

But that woman looks like she has a fucking skunk on her head.

  • thts wha salsa really looks like

  • you guys are hatersssssssssssss..that was sexed stillll ..salsa cubanaaa woo

  • superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • @bogalu1 the name of this song is I love salsa of n'klabe..:)

  • wow! I like the soccer part lol

  • its a dance competition people, not street/club salsa they look like dancers, fun to watch

  • all that acrobatic shit is to much when doing salsa, your messing it's origin, that's why Europeans do it right, correct, and professionally, not like these idiots that do back flips like that,. go to some acrobatic arenas and do that. idiots.

  • not quite salsa..more like acrobatics..but good

  • Comment removed

  • So they think they can dance salsa... I don't think so.. this has no flavor..

  • me encanta

  • It's good she didn't make S4...

  • Its sad to say that people are easily impressed by this. Go to any REAL salsa club in LA and you will see the same tricks and much more.....I applaud them for trying though.

  • WHERE IS THE SALSA DANCING! A bunch of acrobatics and being off beat....this video is wack! I see better dancing in LA nightclubs that this........LA STYLE BABY! THATS REAL SALSA DANCING!!!

  • es salsa de espectaculo

  • listen for your information carloslg81 the beat from salsa is taken from "el son" which is a dance from cuba...so learn your history about salsa better. besides i have never seen a puerto rican dance salsa as cubans...

  • wooooooooooooow

  • That is Colombian salsa... If you pay attention to the lyrics...

  • @Jose049 the band is N'KLABE BUMB ASS IS FROM PUERTO RICO WERE THE REAL SALSA CAME FROM!!! HECTOR LAVOE,EL GRAN COMBO DE PUERTO RICO,LA SONORA PONCE~A,FRANKIE RUIZ,JERRY RIVERA,ETC.....ECT.......!!!! SORRY BUT WE GOT THE FLAVOR!!!! OF SALSA!!!

  • What is the song ???

  • Ahh i'm disappointed how they have to perform fancy tricks to score instead of just dancing.. :[

  • This is salsa, just not Cuban style. It is the columbian style called CALI. They are good, but they are just far away from the columbians.

And there are salsa styles that have acrobatics. I wouldn't do them also, For me the cuban is just fine. However they look pretty cool.

  • Ok, so its not traditional Salsa - lets give it some other name - call it an amazing display of acrobatics, dance, strength, passion, choreography, precision, creativity and most of all FUN. Hats off to the dancers (and choreographer) for sharing such joy with us.

  • dats da bomb!!!

  • This is not salsa, you really need to visit Cuba or Colombia, or any country of Latinamerica. A real salsa excel one self without many acrobatics.

  • ADOROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • katapliktikooooooooooo

  • nice one 5 star for this video

  • this is not Cuban salsa at all, there are no elements of rumba or son. It is very very americano

  • Somebody teach these fools how to dance salsa cuz this 'aint Salsa!! This is more like acrobatics mixed with circus with a sprinkle of carnival. They made a new swing dance but Salsa.....this is far from it. Not cuban or Colombian. This is maybe Alabama lol

  • omg that was amazing!

  • this isnt real cuban salsa

  • thrills! very good! good job!

  • which song is this???plz tell me its name

  • @amira699 N'Klabe-I love Salsa

  • yahhhh,this is fucking dance

  • freakinnnnnnnnnnnnnn awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that is acrobatic salsa....not real cuban salsa......

  • good luck!

  • THATS WHATS UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP!!!!!!!!!! This video is awesome.....

  • isso ahi nao ;e salsa cubana

  • whatever it was..., they were daaaaamn gooood!! unless you could do better, just keep your mouth shut duude..

  • @sweetpopcornify hes just saying that this isnt authentic cuban salsa...which it isnt!

  • salsa?this is just aerobics!

  • and this is your opinion.

  • my friend you should visit a latinamerican country to see how salsa is danced for real!for us,latinoamericans who are salsa lovers this is a joke!

  • @rikiti123 That's usually the case, though - the ballroom dances are quite different from the latin american versions - they're really not comparable, to be honest, 'cause they're so different... there's "real" (or street, or latino, or non-competitive) salsa, and there's ballroom salsa, and they're miles apart :P (at least when you know a bit about either :P )

  • @FaerieDust just read my last comment one more time.Plus, most of the real salsa latinoamerican lover don't care about ballroom salsa to be honest,we don't follow it.thus,i do believe that i am clear enough. )p!!!

  • @rikiti123 i completely agree with you. I have been learning salsa for nearly a year now and i have never seen fewer salsa steps in my life this was more like a gymnastic floor routine. ok so the neck drops were amazing but i have see better for a salsa routin

  • @rikiti123 ur an idiot for even saying that shit!! are u on tv or dancing on the show... no then fuck off!! woooooooow talk about hating for real!! lmfao

  • @MARSOMP you konw shit about salsa thus you talk, walk and breath shit....

  • I'm hoping that whomever tagged this "cuban salsa" were neither of the two performers.

It's a show dance for sure, and they love it at the Torres congresses - but cuban salsa, it is not.

  • acrobatics. no feeling for salsa

  • eso si es salsa.....y picante.

  • he danced casino, cabaret, crossbodylead, it was a real hibryd, i dint like it. bailó casino, cabaret salsa en linea , un verdadero hibrido, no me gusto

  • Respectfully,

such a wonderful ACROBATS, if you tell that they are dancing "salsa"........Iam Michael Jackson or Superman, they don't fell the music.....only "show up, show up"

  • fucking hell!! amazing , i wanna do this!

Xvr

  • What do you mean by Cuban "American" Salsa? What is the Cuban, and what is the American part? To me this is a choreography of turns and acrabatics based on the casino dance (i.e. cuban style salsa), and not on LA. And it's very fresh and entertaining :) Probably it's Cuban "American" salsa because it is performed by americans :)

  • This isn't salsa cubana, it's Salsa LA Flash. THat is where they do all this gymnastics and things.

  • we don't care it's amazing

  • oh course!you don't care as you are just an european who don't know what you are talking about'here,we call it ignorance!

  • Rikiti

1st advice :Learn in your life to read and after open your mouth.......

I said we dont care what they are saying is or isn't Salsa....we know thats it's amazing.

  • adorei a apresentacao.!!!!

  • People, listen in 1950's in Cuba everybody dances like this. The problem is that the generation nowadays doesn't have this information. But.. at Tropicana, at the Cuntry Club, at all the other places - in these times everybody dances like this. So - this is exactly the cuban oldschool salsa. Don't forget that the casino dance was created in the 70's. These are two different things.

  • How little you know! There was no such thing named Salsa in the 50's. In Cuba there was Cuban Son, Guaguanco, Mambo & other forms of music /dance. Salsa as we know it came much later through a compilation of many latin rythms. They certainly didn't dance like this in Cuba in the 50's. But cuba was the main ingredient for sure!!! You don't know what you're talking about!

  • @ chicanite

I didn' say that the salsa existed in the 1950, I said that in Cuba(in Tropicana and in all the Cuban Cabarets) in 1950 they danced EXACTLY like this. And I know cuban dancers who danced in this moment and they were witnesses of this. The probllem is thay You don't know this. And I want to ask you something - how old are you?

  • Honey, I was at the actual Tropicana show in Havana a couple of years ago, an anniversary gift from my spouse, also, the Revival in las vegas three years ago and again the dance did not not look like this. Both shows reflected the development of Cuban Dance starting from the Afro Cuban movement during Slavery to the Glam era of the 50's. So, again you don't know what you're talking about. Read your initial message you are so contradicting yourself. and my age is none of your damn business!

  • cabrona!!!!

  • I am talking about Tropicana in 1950 and 1940, not in 2000. And I;m telling you, because I spent 10 years of my life like a solist ot Tropicana Cabaret and most of my dance teachers danced like on the video, but this was before more that 50-60 years. Of course that the dance in Tropicana NOW will not look like before many years.

I asked you how old are you, because I worked in Tropicana many years and I know very good for what I am talking about.

  • surrrrrrre!!!

  • So, when you don't have enough information and you don't know with who you do argue, you risk to be ridiculous. I speak about things what I do work and I know very good. So, everybody in Cuba in 1950s danced like this in the Cuban varieties BEFORE.

  • It's easy to live in a Fantasy world on youtube. Knock yourself out and get a clue!

  • You can check me very easy who I am - search for Alfredo Torres - Tropicana in YouTube. That's me.

And the user molestosa is my managers' account in Bulgaria.

  • that was crazy

  • Agree with parlifunk1

Is not definitely Cuban Salsa style, clearly Not.

in ours famous Cabaret Tropicana, they use to dance with more swing! "there's not many Salsa styles in Cuba" we make the difference when it comes to dancing. our dancers stars has its different styles, look at Yanek Revilla (style upgrade) Rafael Baro, Juan Jose Ortiz, Emilito Herrera, Osbanis Tejeda styles!, but Yoel Marrero does the clasic Cuban style If we focus entirely in ours Roots.

    Merry Christmas La Bendicion.

  • I love it

  • wow...amazing...

  • bon so fare l'apertura. poi basta.

  • My friends, how little you know about Cuba! You have to first learn about a culture and then comment. In Cuba we have many styles of Salsa. You have the one young people dance on the streets, then that danced by Cabaret people like in Tropicana, then that danced by ballet schools, then the one danced in competitions and one more: The rough one guapos (trouble makers or salsa hooligans) dance in the street when a Timba band like NG play on the streets.

  • what is the name of this song in the video please somebody tell me! :) thank you.

  • Not even remotely Cuban!!! Nice performance, but certainly not "Cuban style." Sure, there are different styles in Cuba, but when "Cuban style" is referred to, it's nothing like that. C'mon, ballet schools?

  • My friend wha i meant is there r so many different styles of dancing Salsa in Cuba that it's even something personal & so it is very difficult 2 classify. The people in this video don´t have the cuban flavour or style, but be sure u haven´t seen all the styles of salsa in Cuba in the last 40 years. Salsa with ballet, salsa with break dancing, salsa with michael jackson moves, salsa with rocknroll, the lot!!! Go 2 youtube & look for: son popular. See another cuban salsa style?

  • @migve13 Seriously? When you say there are many "different styles of dancing in Cuba, what you are saying is that there isn't a distinct "Cuban Style." So in other words, there isn't a style unique to Cuba, distincto y differente? Salsa with Michael Jackson moves? Okay, but that's incorporated into the "Cuban Style." What you are saying is that there is nothing that differentiates Cuban style from LA style. So the styles of the 40's define Cuban style? So Timba isn't uniquely cuban either?

  • parlifunk1, The "son popular" dancing is performed by cutumba. The problem is you know very little about our culture, but after learning that little you think u are authorities on cuban dancing. I was born there and i know i´ve seen many forms of Salsa dancing in Cuba which you've never seen before. Now you claim it is a style from where? Hong Kong? I saw the other day a guy performing a rueda with the cuban moves and calling it Rueda, Florida style! Please?!!!

  • i think he reffered to ballet schools as in dance schools because in cuba we have these schools 4 kids that are 4 kids that are very very good at sports and we have a special school 4 them that is school and sports combined. now there are also different types of these schools like dance sports arts etc... so when he said ballet schools he was reffering to an internal special dance school 4 kids that's what he/she meant. Another thing i want to say is when did so many cubans lear to speak English

  • I love the kick over the neck drop. Neck drops to the max! nice work!

  • Without a doubt these are great dancers with a smart, very entertaining choreography... But you should change the title to something else, this is not Cuban style.

  • I agree .. and it starts looking so stiff when you compare it to cuban style lol

  • This is not cuban salsa style :(
