  • Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.

  • Rafi was a great Indian. he was liked because of his voice and character. HE was great INDIAN. who deserved BHARAT RATNA. the greatest singer even bigger than Lata. I wish when i die i m listening to his songs.

  • bagshitas ur opinions seem to be highly prejudiced. we all here are extreme fans of rafi but saying something like 'he single handedly made industry ? ' i m not sure which part of body u think from ? again whom are u refering to when you say 'hindus put him down ? ' as right from the beginning industry has been dominated by Muslim artists., producers, directors etc.

  • if u guys want to point out trivial facts like he sung most of his songs between 77 and 80 then also look at number of movies made during that time also. i m talking quality of his voice compared to his own voice. great fan i m but i m not deaf neither are u. its ok to say he was singing much worse in 70s as compared his own singing in 50s and 60s. same with lata as i mentioned early. ask urself if his voice sounds the same in later stages ? come on.

  • i was comparing rafi saab's voice to his own voice. not to other contemporary singers. none of them could even get closer when it comes to playback singing. listen to original, the voice here has changed with his age. his voice lost its soft melodious touch in later stages. just like lata started to sound thicker and harsher in late 70s and 80s where her voice seems louder and not as sweet as it used to be in 50s and 60s. i did not say he sings bad of course.

  • Can people please religion out of music please, please!!

  • whats the need of keeping religion out,,,,,! all the relligion has very important place for music,,and i firmly feel its through music that every conflict between us be settled as all the war give hatred while music is the language of love,,,,,,One person like Rafi sahab is enough for making the bridge through love, they are divine beings,,,have faith!

  • dude if u have ears then u can clearly notice the difference between rafi's voice in 50's and 60's and in 70s. i am a great fan of rafi but that doesnt mean i can change the facts. i dont see how hindus put rafi down again. what facts are u refering to ?

  • I`m a hindu,,,I adore Rafi sahab,,I can challange u,,,,in India numbers of hindu are more in nubers than muslims,,,so ,,,for sure I can say,,,,if u will add total number of muslim Fan of rafi from bangladesh,India, pakistan, arabs ,etc,,will never exceed number of hindu fans of Rafi as they are so many in number, yet there are many who hate Rafi,on other ground but not because of relligion, every hindu fastival has most play of Rafi bhajan`s,as that are so pure and by divine person like Rafi saab!

  • although in this song rafi's voice sims out of sort only when compared to his own voice. such a high voltage singer. unfortunately he lost the touch in the twilight years of his career this program arohi must be from 70's . clearly this badshah of vocals is stuggling to sing his own songs. but still one can see when he goes to higher pitch hestill shows " sher budha ho guya to bhi ghas nahi khata" hats off to the greatest singer in the history of india.

  • rafi did not lose any form and neither is he singing out of context-learn your facts then please reply-he went out in those few years because the hindus were putting him down-naushad and mehendr kappor confirmed this-then kishore went to rafi and persuaded him back-it was only rafi who single handedly made the industry.fact.

  • bagshitass, i m only talking of singing and singing only i m as great a rafi fan as they come. dont make it religious bullshit. i m hindu and i love rafi no matter what and so did all the hindus. they worshipped him.

  • plz don't get me wrong, i know that just as well as any,but these are true facts that i wrote-a minority does not represent the majority-as for singing-rafi is/was never at fault and always 100%.

  • well said Ashjv..Don't know why these human beings bring any religion in between everything.Hey people,be INSAAN..rather then Janwar..who some are dogs, cats donkeys etc etc.Let the anomals fight..not we humans.. a fan of music..and love all humans and animals too.

  • m talk in taht languageusic has no religion colour nor politics nor genderonly trouble maker without much greymater

  • Sir,,,don`t u blv change is good,,,music in 40s,50s,60s,70 are entirly,,different,,person like Rafi sahab are not parrots so everytime he sings with different mood and song changes he is rather a King of of king as u stated, but he never became old with his voioce,,thats why Rafi sahab is called divine and divinity is ever young,,in 70s rafi sahab`s voice was for all young actors,,he got national award for a Rock song, that we only find in english song,,Rafi recorded most hit song in year 77-80

  • wah wah--- kiya awaz ha Mohd rafi sahab ki-- waaaaah
