the eyetoy was actually pretty successful for the amount of money and marketing they put behind it (which was very little), especially in europe. i'd hardly consider that a failure, and it paved the way for the ps eye, which is way more impressive than 360's live vision camera. and everyone who bought one is gonna need to upgrade to the netal camera, and how much is that gonna cost? the new ps3 motion controller works with the curret ps eye, so no replacing shit you already bought
