What we have yet to fully understand is that there is a large body of people, like Westboro's Fred Phelps who actually want LGBT kids to end their lives by suicide or bashing, so they can hold them up as wretched examples of what happens to you if you "choose" to be gay. There's nothing they won't do to this end.
Bullies who end gay kids' lives high five each other with each death they cause. Some go on to be politicians, preachers and parents seeking to retain the status quo at any price.
