@TheFinal724 They already released the Anniversary remake of Halo: CE, and Halo 4 is planned to release Holiday 2012. They did even officially announce a second Trilogy made by 343 Industries. So yes, you can at least know there will be a Halo 4, Halo 5, and Halo 6.

i am pretty sure a lekgolo is a hunter am i right and if they are just call them a damn hunter it is a lot more understandable

Lekgolo are worm like aliens that can form a sort of 'hive mind' super being to inhabit a shell of armor, which is what the hunters are. Lekgolo is the native term for the, hunter is just a nick-name given by the Marines, along with Cow, Can-Of-Worms ect ect. The Scarab is a bio-mechanical unit that is comprised of the Lekgolo worms in a armored shell to look like a giant insect. The rear mounted cannon and the plasma lathe in the front are 'mentally' operated by the lekgolo.

Everyone let me clarify something. The lekgolo found inside the scarab is what helps it to move, the worms move its leg and creates its locomotion. The whole thing is not a giant hunter, it is really a vehicle but uses the lekgolo worms to move and walk around the rest is machine, it is not neccessarily infantry unit becuase it uses lekgolo to move instead of an engine or something

@1Reapers0Assassin1 eh still, don't get me wrong I think Halo: Reach was a fitting way for as the last Bungie-made Halo game. But it seems they're trying to made the campaign as modern and as realistic as they can. We don't want that, at least I didn't. The thing about Halo is that it's out of this world, a sort of sci-fi fantasy world where there is still a sense of realism. I think they done it to attract all the COD players, these days you can barely find a player with good taste in game.

Try to think of it this way:

You're on a mongoose, a nearly useless vehicle when it comes to offense. Even defense. Why would a Scarab bother messing with such weak force?

Also, they might've had a more important objective - glassing Reach / destroying heavier vehicles / etc.

The Scarab might've not noticed the spartans since its objective was a cliff leading somewhere...
