That's a really good win by Carlos. I had thought that Novak tanked this match, but it's pretty obvious that Carlos just beat him. Learned from his match the previous week and made all the right changes.
Djokovic is a good enough player to handle drop shots. It just looked like he was fatigued from the previous week, and Moya played a very good match. He earned the win.

You are correct. He did retire...due to injuries.
Don't make it any more than that...as you seem to be trying to do. Nadal was not well at the Roger tourn,and needs to get healthy.
