I really don't understand the idea to add a gamemode like this.

1. The direct control is a cheap copy of Men of war/faces of war.

2. CoH never had good tank battles and why add direct control to a game when no tank can fire further then a few meters?

They could have completly skipped this gamemode and focused on the normal CoH gameplay.

MoW Assault squad does direct control and tank battles a 100 times better.

Not just making it more fun but also more realistic.

i agree the only tanks that can tackle axis armor are the sherman firefly and the pershing. the larger gun upgrade for the sherman helps but theyre still at a disadvantage.

hey , you guys, actually there is a key to unlimited Hummel S.P.A for panzerelite schord earth tact, all you need is a rpair tiger , then make 3 hummel , use tnk buster , then destroy the hummels by attk ground , but dnt break the remain, then keep callin for new hummel , then break it, till you reach ur limit or had enough , 15 hmmls remains or like that, then you ask for 3 hummel but dont break it, use the tiger chasis to repair the remains, there you go, voila! 18 hummel S.P.A at your hand!

@777DejaVu777 Yeah its a funny trick. But at the same time complety waste of resources in a real MP game. The enemy will just walk over you if you spend so much time saving up for hummels. MIght be good on campy arty maps though..Noob maps like Scheldt.

But in a normal game you mostlikely wont need more then 2 hummels. Or can afford it.

@Hidan237 i'm still gunna be playing it; it's just disappointing that they didn't put any physics in the game. big units like the ultralist don't really feel big because they're not tossing shit around with their pinchers. explosions don't feel like explosions cause they don't send things flying. what you end up with is fairly dull battles. S2 looks like it should've been made in 2004

I have both the BETA key for Starcraft 2 and this game. I have to admit the graphics for this are good but are nothing compared to Starcraft 2's graphics. Plus, Youtube ruins video quality with their "Fuzzy compression" bullshit. And you spelled Disappoint wrong.

I'm not basing my point of view on youtube video of SC2. If you've played SC2 then, surely you'd agree the graphics are disapointing? I haven't played COH personally, but just from the "poor quality" you tube videos, this looks nicer to me. I'm running it with everything on max, my comp isn't really breaking a sweat. Then like people have said, the physics engine is alittle dull, but I guess that's how they want the game, more focus on gameplay...? SC1 was revolutionary, 2 is just meh

Allied tanks don't stand a chance in this game. The german tanks outclass every allied tank, but maybe not the Pershing.

germans have insane tanks, but their slow. using an anti tank gun or 17 pounder anti tank gun are very effective, even against those gigantic heavy armored king tiger tanks. don't you know that shermans killed the tigers because they were so much faster and could get in spots the tiger couldnt.

The Hotchkiss is too light, the Panther too weak, the Piv too...crap...the Churchill too lumbersome and the Sherman, like the Piv, too crap. But the hellcat owns everything. I always play with the M18, and i've never lost a game.

It is true that the german tanks are better in direct combat, however, Allied tanks are much more mobile, and a good CoH player wont just stand there with his tank while fighting, your gonna have to micromanage and get around them so that you hit their back armor. Also, if you are smart you would have support for your tank so that you can take out AT guns and other things that threaten your tanks

Panzerkreig gets boring after a few games and the direct control thingy is a bad rippoff off Men of war.

Not to mention you have tanks that act nothing like the Tanks in WW2.

They might aswell reskin the units to some kinda Sci-fi units and it would make more sense.

In My Eyes ToV was just a waste. The new gamemodes wasnt anything speciall.

Only reason to get it is, so you can use the few new OP units.

They could have made the expansion much better.

the only game that can beat this game is men of war...tho i can't play it online cuz it's cracked....the engine in men of war is so cool it has everything you can wish for and in men of war the tanks can actually run out of fuel and stuff, the tracks may be hit and it may not be able to drive with but u can still stay in it and shoot people, it's a strategy game, it's awesome, the same graphics as COH just a little worse textures i assume but otherwise it's KICK ASS you should chekc it out!

My puter is perfect in terms of playing various games. I love playing CoH, but if you wish to play a WWII game with better graphics, music and a much larger scale, and of course if your system requirements are Ok, then I would advise Order of War, which combines all the best from various wargames.
