this movie is dumb. its about this gay samurai. and other samurais fall in love with him. its a chick-samurai movies for gay couples.

@raysummers - it wasnt more common than its now with homosexuality. and this movie isnt a good samurai movie. its a chick flick. the intrigues of this movie can be compared to a gay version of "days of our lives". stupid end too. and i knew what it was about. but i thought cuz it was a samurai movie, the drama would be better.

Takeshi Kitano, Tadanobu Asano, Ryuhei Matsuda,(who by the way looks a bit like a Dollfie here lolz) and some very nice directing(as it seems)..wow O_O,I think I should watch this film ^__^

I had this film on dvd but i lost it i think that Oshima is a great director always exploring the deepest of the human emotions the last scene is filled with beautifullnes, sorrow and uncertainity

Ryuichi Sakamoto's score is perfect for the film... More I watch it, more I love the film. Ryuehi Matsuda has inherited an amazing talent & charisma from his father.

Indeed, I love Ryuhei's way of acting, emotionless face but still so filled with emotions. This movie is amazing, but when it comes to Ryuhei, I prefere Aoi Haru, which is my favouite movie of all times.

AND to act together with Tadanobu Asano at that age, fantastic.
