  • Christianity is as grossly immoral as is the idea of bankrupting a country and forcing the next generation to pay for it. Why have individual responsibility when you can force someone else to endure the punishments of your wrong doings?

  • Jesus was talking about being Baptized. John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot denter into the kingdom of God. My Jesus is the Jesus of the Bible. He has taught me faith, repentance, baptism, and the Gift of the Holy spirit. Being born again by baptism and by the spirit is a wonderful gift. My Jesus is the same Jesus that dies on the cross and appeared to a modern prophet.

  • LDS Jesus is not the Jesus in the Bible.

  • @1coolguysuper With so many different Christain sects, how are you to be the definer of who Jesus is or What the Bible says he is?

  • @aexpiacao How do I define who Jesus is?

By reading His Word, the Bible.

I don't belong to any sect.

  • @1coolguysuper Then you, while believing you are different from all the other Christian sects, because you don't belong to a group in general, misunderstand that you follow one of many interpretations of the Bible, just as hundreds of other christian sects claim to do. Many Interpret the bible in different ways. We all follow Christ though. Lets all get along. Telling somebody they don't believe in Christ because of their belief system is different then yours is rediculous. Jesus is my Savior.

  • @aexpiacao There is only one way to interpret the Bible, and by reading it you will see.

So then way are there many sects in mainstream Christianity and within the LDS? ( Yes,there many sects within the LDS faith that also use the book of mormon, FLDS,RLDS etc).

Simple, when men try to intervene between God and man and depart from the Word, it leads to many disputes with my lead to sects or even religions.

In order to rightly interpret the bible is to read what is written in the Word.

  • @1coolguysuper I have read the Bible many, many times. I have even read it in Portuguese. I served a mission in Brazil for 2 years and taught the Bible and Book of Mormon to 1000's of people. The FLDS are a small break off group form 115 plus years ago. they have nothing to do with my religion. LDS number above 14 million worldwide while flds have like 30 thousand in break off groups in the U.S and Canada. They hide in the deserts and break the law.

  • @aexpiacao Here,watch this video: flonL84h6kI

By the way,I was born within the LDS convenient and remain LDS for 24 years, and now I'm born again.

  • @1coolguysuper Looked at it. No other gods before me/after//besides me. Interpret it how you want, but it can be interpreted to worship no other Gods besides him. Genesis 3:5 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your aeyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. , I'm sure you will interpret this vs your way too but, even Satan knew there was more then One God. We are already Godlike having been created in God's image, having dominion over the earth.

  • I respect your born again but I for one am not of your new faith. I wish you luck in yours and desire you happiness in all things.

  • @aexpiacao Thank you,but that still doesn't change the fact that the LDS Jesus is not the same as the Biblical Jesus.

  • @1coolguysuper Well my view is that the Born again Jesus is not the Jesus of the bible. It goes both ways.

  • @aexpiacao John 3 verses 1-3

1.Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council.

2.He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”

    3. Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are BORN AGAIN.

The Jesus I follow is the Jesus of the Bible.

  • @1coolguysuper

same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost, John 1:33

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom, John 3:5

ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost, Acts 1:5

they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, Acts 2:4

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, 1 Pet. 1:23

  • @1coolguysuper The Jesus you follow is the Jesus of the Bible mixed with the interpetations of men. I never found born agains to be of much help to my eternal salvation. It is just too easy to say I believe and go on living however I want. Self-claiming you are saved is not the doctrine of the Bible. Only God can delcair if you are saved or not. Why else would their be a judgement? Saying you were saved on such and such a date is cool but you dont have authority to claim that. Only God can.

  • @aexpiacao How could it be interpretations of men? What makes you believe that? Joseph Smith? Just how Joseph Smith made you believe that there are other gods and that you could become a god? I used to think like you when I was LDS, i used to say," If I all one has to do is believe, then I could live how I want".

But of course we know who thinks like that.

The thing is not just believing in Jesus (since Muslims believe in Him too) ,it's believing who He is, and that is God in the flesh continue

  • @1coolguysuper Interpetations of men are found in all the sects. One needs baptism, one doesnt. One saved by grace alone, one needs faith and works. One allows drinking, smoking, sex, and one doesnt. the list goes on and on. Especially the different views on God's character. God and Jesus are one person, or are they seperate individuals. Men have invented and designed their churches to fit their beliefs since the great apostasy when Christs original church was destroyed.

  • @1coolguysuper Joseph smith was just a man. He was not a perfect man, but he was called of God. I see this through what God used him to do, in bringing forth the Book of Mormon, establishing the Church ect. The true and everlasting, restored, original gospel exists on earth again. Joseph was just a man, but so was Moses, Abraham, ect. The only difference between them and us is that they were called of God to be Prophets. In revelations it talks of Prophets in the last days.

  • @aexpiacao Joseph of Smith was a self-conscious fraud. I don't mean to be insulting but his story could not possibly be believed by a thinking person.

  • @1coolguysuper The book of Revelations says there will be Prophets in the last days. Well, here they are. Mormon.org go!

  • @1coolguysuper Its like saying the westbourough Baptist church represents all Baptists. The LDS Chruch is not a reformation like all the others who broke off from other mainstream churches over the years. We claim that this is the Restored Church of Jesus Christ. God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared to a modern prophet in our times and through him restored all keys, authority and true teachings to the world. Mormon.org Go! Awesome search engine there that can answer all your questions.

  • @aexpiacao Part.

Tell me something, have you read the Bible?

  • @1coolguysuper Dont be a band wagon hater because of some pastors chip on the shoulder attitude about the LDS Chruch. Want the real version or my faith with out the watered down version? Mormon.org . Go!

  • All we believe is found in the Bible by the way.

  • Relying on interpetations of the bible is why there are hundreds of different Christian sects. The ideas of men mixed with scripture. We believe this is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The restored actual Church of Jesus Christ. Mormon is just a nickname because of the additional scripture that has been revealed in our time to fulfill the restoration of the fullness of times in the preparation for the 2nd coming of Christ.
