  • Looks like you're running FCS2 on a G5 - how does it hold out. I've been using premiere until now, i want to switch to FCS2 now so im going to have to get a mac - i want to save some money so thinking of a imac G5 instead of the newer model - does FCS2 have any problems with the G5 spec? what spec are you running it on?

  • im looking at geting a mac specifically to run this program (dont need it for much else) what is the minimum power imac i should get to edit in HD my camera is a sony using ACHDV. im looking at gettin the imac 2.66GHz and 4GB memory.. will this be powerful or will i need more $ for more power to run this program.. sorry for such a big question but iv searched for an answer but there is not much news about this program except here and on apple site and they dont really provide an answer.

  • How Much HD space is required for FCS2 including all content disks?

    Many thanks for these movies.

  • keep it up man...

    it s coming

  • thats pretty cool

the interface of FCP look similar to Adobe premiere, but not as cramped :)

  • Final Cut kicks Adobe's Premiere ass! even though Premiere ain't that bad... I just prefer Final Cut.

  • Very informative. Thanks for posting!

  • you know alot about ur apple products!!

P.S. Where is the video where you get hit in the head and wake up tied up? I looked on your website but it's not there

  • oh i never posted that...i may one day, its sort of incomplete

  • dude, get ishowu to incorporate better screenshots.

  • i got snapz pro x for free, but it ended up being a trial, and i dont really want to pay $70 just to post these free tutorials yah know. Thats why i haven't posed any further FCS2 videos. But maybe hopefully ill find something a lil cheaper.

  • holy crap thats frekin amazing!

you rock- i'm so getting FCS2!

(i'm an apple freak too! nice to see someone who's as crazy abot them as me:)

  • may i ask, what did you use to compress this vid for the web and how big was the file? thanks!

  • compressing with FCP quicktime converter to web high....usually works for me....but it takes a while for some reason, so in this case i exported a full self contained version then imported into imovie, then i exported a web streaming version that was about im guessing 40MB each (i dont remember because i deleted after importing to youtube).

  • Hey do you know if i can use FinalCut or something like that on windows??

  • i dont believe so
