do they want "out of the box" minis or are converted ones okay?

for example: i could see if someone submits a cool defiler conversion then someone else orders one and is disappointed when they don't get the conversion :P

canadian thanksgiving is in october due to a shorter growing season, but one can be in the spirit of thanksgiving at other times of the year (it just usually happens october/november)

Converted miniatures are fine too, but probably won't be used for the main product shot.

I assume that in the end you will want nice, fully painted pictures for everything. I was curious if you would want unpainted ones as filler for now until you can get completed ones.

If that is the case, I believe that between my friend and I, we have nearly every model that has been released for the Orks, Imperial Guard, and Necrons. My necrons are all painted, but a lot of the Orks and my friends IG are not. but at least it would be something.

Canadian thanksgiving is earlier because it is to celebrate the Harvest- it was initially thanking God for the Crops that year.. Anyways.. just saw a fair few of comments like this.. and felt like answering

It might not be a bad idea to offer a bounty on original pics for the remainder of their items (ie. non space marine which will have 10 ea.).

Could just be a small sum (< $1) and credited to their account, encouraging people to go out and fill out any items without pics in no time flat.

They would get a near complete photo gallery within like a week if they did that.

Funny that this comes up,the first thought I had looking through the store. Not seeing what you are buying is an issue.

Yeah well, Most people would just sent pics anyway. I highly doubt that there is going to be a 'shortage' of pictures

I don't doubt that either but I do think that they will not be evenly distributed among all the different items the store sells. Like honestly, how many Dark Eldar pics are you submitting? Rarer or more expensive or undesirable items might end up without pics, while the Space Marine tac squad will have 200 submitted.

I was just saying to do it for the things where pics will be rarer to come by. I assume you can't just rip off GW or other pics due to copyright.
