i was racing in the jeepspeed class and the corner was perfectly fine. wide enough for a 700 horsepower beast to make it through without going off track. i could be wrong though cause jeepspeed was the second class to take off from the line in the first race so we got a clean track.
WTF? i thought casey said no driving into vegetation at the race meet, meaning do go off the damn track? i guess the big dogs can do whatever they want if you have deep pockets -______-
@risendudelm In defense of the racers that went through that corner, there were 2 roads that intersected at a 90 degree angle. There was no chance the these guys, or the limited class guys could have made that turn w/out putting it on 2 wheels, or their lid, so Casey rounded the corner. As the day wore on, because of dust and not seeing the course markings, and some over cooking the corner, the line got wide on that corner, but there were only 2 or 3 that went out into the desert.
@andoRGfan I watched in Hi Res on a big monitor, and he does have a helmet on. You can see the reflection of the face shield before 10:14. he just has a big opening on the helmet, but definitely wearing one.
