I believe in helping people if you are financially able to afford it! Keep in mind that this so called law only allows money to be contributed because the authorities want to benefit as well! If I were to invite someone who is homeless on to my patio and offer him a meal that is my right as a fellow human being!
This is not a legitimate law! This is called ignorance! To help a fallen human being is the most generous and heart felt emotion that someone can do for humanity! Where is the love for fellow man!

the nazis are taking over the country, soon you will see trainloads of americans heading to prison camps with smokestacks and ovens in them. we are repeating history folks. this is like 1933 again. dont believe me? just wait till 1939 arrives. apx 6 years from now.
Why are they arresting folks for helping the homeless? All the real criminals are on the loose, and they're throwing people in jail for being a good citizen?
The people to blame for this travesty are the legislators who made this act a crime in the first place.
This is another perfect example of our government intruding too far into the lives of Americans. What we need is a criminal justice system less concerned with the minutiae of every day life among consenting adults, and more focused on actual crimes committed by actual criminals.
This is really really disturbing. People stopping people who are helping people? If you can't see a problem with this you are a very sick human being. Human Rights abuse anyone?
It's a damned shame. I have no sympathy for these greedy apathetic people losing their jobs now especially the ones I heard insulting homeless people for all supposedly being lazy conmen/women
You're right about these tyrannical police officers how could any human being follow this order? LOL I'm a war veteran so that's a rhetorical question.
This is just another testament to this hedonistic society we live in. anyone who isn't producing is seen as a burden and upsets the American dream or should I say delusion.
I see the cops all the time here in Alaska roll up on homeless guys begging for money and tell them to get lost. No one in America cares until it's them homeless on the street and then there's no one left to cry for them.
America, the only country where feeding people is illegal

This only occurs because the most powerful and wealthiest control our "security" forces.
Our police officers blindly follow these orders, there are people being raped, killed, and tortured yet you waste time with things such as this?

I agree. People are so fixed on themselves to the point that they scoff at the homeless, then whine when they are left homeless themselves.

This is ridiculous!
How can it be a crime to feed hungry??!
The cops are just bullies in uniform.
Clearly some of them eat more than 3 square meals a day.
