  • Uh oh...started listening to this old-school COGIC choral praise...started clapping, now the feet are going...HEH! GLORY! Where's my TAMBORINE? :-) Thanks so much @JohnDoe777 for uploading this...it's a great service all you uploaders render to the whole world, especially for those in countries who cannot access gospel music where they live, except through the internet. Your "upload ministry" sends the FULL GOSPEL MESSAGE of SALVATION, HEALING and JOY in the HOLY GHOST to the nations! GLORY!

  • WOW!!! I haven'te heard this song since I was a teenager and I'm 44 now. Brought back memories of good times. Thanks, bruh!!!

  • No on but Evang. Rose Marie Rinsom-Brown could sing like this...I call her auntie. One of the true pioneers of old time praise & worship in the COGIC Church Internationally.

  • Wow, Southwest Michigan Choir...now I know that was composed of parts of Detroit..did that go as far west as Benton Harbor, MI and Muskegon where Bishop Wells Sr. was?

  • You're exactly right! My parents/grandparents came up under Papa Wells and lived in Benton Harbor and Decatur. My mom still shares with me her fond memories of traveling to Detroit and singing under Dr. Clark.

  • OH cool, it's awesome to have those memories

  • This came out the late 50's early 60's I got the original LP her at home

  • What year was this released?

  • I Need Accurate Lyrics to this song from the beginning to the end

  • It's hard to decipher what the soloist is singing but, I think it starts of like this: "While I'm preparing to meet him face to face While (or now) I am praying and asking for more grace, and I'm Singing Praying Watching Waiting Shouting Getting ready Oh write my name, Oh write my name above...
  • >>continued... Because I need you every hour Need your cleansing power Need you when I'm lonely Need you when I'm hungry I want you to Keep me Wash me Give me Oh touch me Wash me, keep me and cleanse me with your blood, write my name above" ----- If anyone has a different version or a correction please post the lyrics.
