the song is about the lead singers best friend. His friend had a brother die in the first Iraq war in the 90's and the lead singer was with his friend when he got the tragic news. His friend broke down crying. This is why you can't understand the lyrics. Also the words are not Boxer or Bag it is about weather his brother is coming home in a box or a bag. After the friend learned of his brothers death he and the lead singer went for a walk and came

The album will be self-released and be released through Universal Music Group internationally. Backspacer was the name of a turtle sponsored by Pearl Jam for Conservation International and Nat.Geographic's Great Turtle Race.There is only two confirmed tracks so far - The Fixer, and Got Some. Got Some was played on Conan's first late show, there are vids of it on youtube.

There are no offical lyrics. He kinda improvises. But the bottom line is it's about his friends brother who died at war, and when he and his friend were talking about it, they stopped to salute a flag. Theowners of the flag were sitting on the porch, but the people just glared at him and his friend for their grungy look.

The name is a bastardization of the term Yellow Letter and his friends name, Tim Ledbetter
