theres a horizontal fretboard with notes on like the way the guitar is and the words are there so you can sing along , but really you just have to get the right pitch/strenght in volume to reach each note so you could just go aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa the whold song and get 100 % still
