70 Weeks Prophecy # 3 - Biblical Time

This is all new to me, interesting. I'm not sure if it's wise to be consumed by this b/c it takes away from ministering time in some respects, perhaps. Also this subject matter doesn't change the message or graceful salvation thru Christ. We could debate this stuff and still go to heaven. But cool anyways. Thanks.

Revelation 11:1-2 is not about a temple is made up of the 144,000 notice in verse 1 a reed like unto a rod. Moses uses a rod to lead the people the people out of Egypt.

A rod is used for correcting. Pr.23:14 beat him w/ a rod.

Now notice Rev.21:16-17 we have a golden reed this time its not like unto a rod because the judgment of the church is finished notice in verse it says hundred and forty and four cubits a measure of man. The 144,000 in Rev.14:1.

Rev.11:2 the holy city is the church.

@charlieangel1000 I mean the temple spoken of in Rev.11:1-2 is not a building it is the body of christ. The 2 witnesses are the church or you could say the 144,000 in Rev.14 or you could call the church the woman in Revelation 12. God is giving us different names for the church just he does for the 3 1/2 yrs for tribulation sometimes God says time,times, and half. Sometimes he says 42 months another time he says 1,260 days each meaning 3 1/2 yrs. The church is called by different names.

The Jewish calendar and how they adjusted the calendar by adding an extra month of Adar 7 times in the 19 year metonic cycle is not relevant to this discussion. We are looking at an IDEAL calendar which God Almighty uses when he dispenses time to His covenant people living in this fallen cosmos. Sir Isaac Newton could not understand this. He was a naturalist, and an illuminist. An Arian, he refused communion on his death bed. Sir Robert Anderson, a "born again" Christian, DID "get it".

Daniel 9

25 Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times. 26 And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off,"

Th Bible is clear. After the 69 sevens of Biblical years the Messiah is "cut off" or executed.

A future 70th Week remains.

Great Video. I somewhat disagree that 70th is yet future. I believe that the 70th week was fulfilled when hitler came to power. He makes a covenant with spiritual judah (the Catholic church). WWII started the last 3 and half years of the tribulation. symbolically it ended in feb.1943. america entered in Dec.1941 to may 1945 thats also and a half years.

Interesting. But the 69 weeks terminated exactly with Palm Sunday 32 A/D. The 3.5 Biblical years of the Great Tribulation are also 1260 days exactly. And these 1260 days/42 Biblical 30 day months relate also to the trampling of Jerusalem, the reign of the Antichrist in his 666 beast mode, the testimony of the two witnesses, and the flight and Bozrah Exile of the woman of Revelation 12. So I believe it must be yet future in the time of the Apocalypse at the climax of this present evil age.

I agree that the 69th week ended with Jesus' crucifixion. but the space gap is the jews dispersion over the world. The fullness of the Gentiles sins came to a full amount in 1935 (Dan.8:23). Jews began leave europe. Mar.1936 started the tribulation. Antiochus IV was the historical fulfillment of the Desolator, but Adolf Hitler is the prophetic fulfillment. In the greek alphabet they had no letter for the numeral 6, during the writing of Revelation. 666 is a translation error. 660 is correct

Gavin I enjoyed this video very much. The final seventy week should begin with the treaty to divide Jerusalem??? Bush is pushing for peace in mid east but preparing for war. If war breaks out soon the end may be this treaty indeed to divide Jerusalem. This will probably be when the world cries peace and safety.But as we know from Gods word this is when sudden destruction comes upon them.

Yes, the presence of a western army in the region of the four angels at the Euphrates River is very significant. And we know that Iran is preparing nuclear weapons. Something big will happen in the middle east unless there is a miraculous turnaround. An explosion of a nuclear device in Iran, Tel Aviv, Damascus, or all of the above will send the world screaming "Somebody do something!" Enter the peacemaker of Daniel 9:27. Remember history. Big peace treaties usually only happen after big wars.

Yes, God has been very gracious. The Holy Spirit outpouring overflowed Israel on the day of Pentecost 2,000 years ago. He has given us plenty of time to get the Gospel Message out to the ends of the earth. But time is running out. And soon the 70th Week of Daniel, however much Preterists and Partial Preterists hate this, will be re-opening holy history. God will resume His covenant dealings with ALL His covenant people from BOTH houses of Israel, the royal Jewish house of Judah AND the Church.

problem being gavin, there is no reason to assume you should have 2000 years gap in the continuous 70 week prophecy of daniel... the CHurch recognized the 70th week had come and gone with the destruction of the jewish temple in jerusalem

which is not to say i do not agree we could very well be in the dawn of human history, with the imminent (within a generation) Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ

If you look at this article and chart

you will see that Professor Hoehner's chronology fails to connect two Nisan moons. The terminus of the 69 weeks must come in during an embolismal year that sees a late Passover since the 69 sevens or 173,880 days goes 25 days over the 476 years and must connect the Nisan of Nehemish with the Nisan of Palm Sunday in the Passion year.

The articles I linked do not deal with only Hoehner, but the first article I linked deals with Anderson. As proven by the article, Anderson uses the wrong number of Leap Yrs. The difference inclusive is 173,883, not 173,880. Thus, Dispensational Chronology is all wet. God is not the author of confusion. We now go by 365 day years. Prophetic Time was not instituted till well AFTER Noah. There were no prophecies foretold before Noah. Besides, why would u want to promote Jesuit Futurism?
