  • I've fallen IN LOVE... with SHAMISEN!!!!!

  • in many one

  • OMG I didn't think it's possible to play with such a speed in such syncron... *____*

Shamisen almost semeed like aan instrument for solo or maybe duett ("duel" as how some plays it in an exciting way) but this really is amazing how they are able to do it together and still sound like one.

  • Guys! this is in fact a military project! don't be fooled! the fucking Japanese are going to make us orgasm to death!

  • wow, cool

  • Perfect!

  • ้hi I like Japanse traditional music,I'm Thai musicien.

  • whats the song called...anyone

  • sounds like a bee or vuvuzela with so many person ^^

  • very similar with Chinese.

  • combined effort !! what we can achieve together is infin8!!

  • @spiritguidance search combined human effort - making rain

  • The crazy thing is that most of them don't look down.

  • Sounds like Trance music..I needs my glowsticks

  • wow awesome!!!,representation of awesomeness on earth...

  • This is sooooooooo cool. Reminds me of the rain.

  • This is insane! They are in perfect unison!!!

  • if only rain sounded this sweet on your window sill

  • @ NCOProductions ...how little you know.

  • waw ...espectacular;) 1000*

  • i always ask myself: How could they kneeling all the time? Sometimes for hours...

    hope you understand my english?

    ;o)

  • @AlexandraVioletta i think they just got used to it in all the years :)

  • theyre actually sitting on the back of their legs/feet. look up 'seiza position'

  • Iwate or ..could be Iwaki?!

  • Why can't the world have armies like this instead?

  • @brybry6669 Because of assholes and ignorant terrorists. And hey, I wouldn't be where I am now if it weren't for the military.

  • @brybry6669 u posted: "Why? can't the world have armies like this instead?" Cuz the richest, greediest most corrupt , most powerful, most evil mofo's on the planet (ie rothschild's rockefellers, morgans, mellons ...) will never make anywhere NEAR the same kind of "killings" selling CD's & concert tickets as they do selling lies, arments & wars.

Read "War is a Racket" by Sgt Smedley Butler. If ppl ONLY knew...

  • プライドの国の

  • oh my god this is amazing :D i love japanese music

  • that performance.... just awesome!

  • Impressive, yet I would rather at least a solo, duo or trio shamisen performance. Otherwise this is quite epic :D

  • The fact that they could get that many people together is impressive by itself. There is something great about lots of people getting together to play music, its powerfull. I like it when they do it with Irish Music as well, but with Irish Trad it seems very rare.. or maybe even non existant nowadays.

  • They are like robots in the same way a marching band is like a bunch of robots-- because they keep in tune? Don't you think the term "robot" has some bad connotations? Especially in connection with the Japanese, who were stereotyped as "all the same" and "robotic" during WWII. I think a similar stereotype is that all Japanese are business people, but I think that what was trying to be pointed out was that they are all middle-aged? Because none of them are wearing a business suit or anything.

  • すばらしい :)

  • Crap they are like robots O.O

  • I WANT A SHAMISEN T_T

  • Although that was very good, I think this instrument sounds better on its own than in a group... It was very well done though!

  • I have to agree; I prefer it on its own rather than en masse.

  • This just made my life.

  • The awesome thing is that most of them look like hardout business people.

  • exelente!!!! imprecionante!!!!!!

  • That's absolutely nuts.

  • belissimo

  • This is just too awesome...

  • バカ!*slap* lol

  • then you would say

    tondemonai

  • chigau means "you're wrong!" casual form of chigaimasu

  • Same a la la la melodies :D

  • haha lol that's awesome they all playin a nikata bushi XDDD

  • Shamisen SPAM xD awesome

  • ROFFL WHAT? XD

  • That screamings seems like Damaso Perez Prado the "Mambo King"

  • how is this music written down?

it's got lots of microtones so i"m pretty sure you couldn't use standard western notation

  • I think Japanese music notation uses numbers instead of a A-G scale.

  • @RokoEpsilon some uses number notations or symbols to denote note changes in Japanese music.... numbers or symbols...for some....is like the do-re-mi music scales......that's my 5 cents worth of opinions.....

  • Wow, now i've got goosebumps! Thats great! *bows*

  • WHOA, so many in one spot! 100x the awesome power of the shamisen. :D Would've been great to sit there during this performance.

  • great!!!

  • Uso!! >=O

  • ...DAMN...

  • i am korean and i lov japanese tradicional music!

    awesome!

  • -nosebleed-

  • RESPECT

  • Woooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • its sounds so distorted for the sole fact that modern technology can not behold the amazing shamisen

  • lets just say 1990's technology. it's been awhile since then ;)

  • .:)

  • impressive!

  • LOLAZO XD

  • at one point, all the shamisen are going together so perfectly it sounds like a choir in the background are singing lalalalala along to each note. Try doing THAT with that many guitars

  • I think with guitars it will only be one noise. Hope you understand me, im german ^^ Shamizen are really cool!

  • That's very true, I've been to music classes in school with 10-30 guitar players at once, and it can be horrible :P

  • try listening to an opera .. that's the western equivalent

  • There's a slight difference between operas and 30 teenagers on guitar, I know 'cause I've experienced both ^^

  • @kungfuasgaeilge so true...so true...

  • Jaw drop. O.O;

  • LOL :D

  • its the march of the shasmisen!

  • Tsugaru Shamisen Heaven!!!
