Fumaaz, there were 2 outs and the idea was to distract the players so the guy at third could run home before the runner at first was tagged out. They only did this for fun because the game was forfeited due to lack of players on the orange team. The blue team actually had a player fill in right field for the orange team, rotating players throughout the game.

So, the game was just a fun game with no meaning, which is why the coach called for the Bee Play. He wouldn't have done this if it was a regular game.
Yeah I'm more of a traditionalist too... he could've done the same thing without all the random flailing.
