My Nissan patrol would have idled through that in 2wd. I dont hate these cars, would like to see one modified: Jacked up, big rubber, snorkel......and reliable.

Of course Patrol is better, but the price difference is soooo high... I've bought 2007y. Niva instead of 1988 Patrol :) For Russia, Niva and UAZ are the best cars for offroad because there are like a "Lego" and parts for these cars you can buy in every russian city...

In the Patrol? I've heard about problem with overheating, turbines... But of course Patrol - one of the best offroad car.

What about Niva - I dont know about the most fragile part, but the parts prices are low and almost all of the works you can do in your garage) I think these are the highest difference between this cars... If you have money - Patrol, else - Niva or UAZ
