Not even the most seasoned fighters and officers in King Saul's army could take on Goliath, but then one teenage shepherd boy with balls no moyle could tame fell him with a single slingshot blow. Not saying that's a valid analogy, but it never hurts to consider.
Whatever, I did not get to see Enterprise because the tv channel that carried it in my area went out of biz. Now tell me, how an antiquated starship did what a fleet couldn't do at Wolf 359, over 100 years later?
technicly as the borg had yet to assimilate alot of races and shield/weapons technology seen later in TNG and hadn`t encountered starfleet weaponry before. the NX class first few torpedoes would have been able to penetrate the cubes shields.
so yes although a 1000 to 1 chance the NX Enterprise could have destroyed a borg cube.
That doesn't explain the nebula (different color they don't vary like that (complementary colors) within such a short distance even in star trek, that's what gave it away ) and how the NX-01 has those weapons at least 200 years before voyager had them ( they do look slightly different from the ones coming out of the NX-01, without the orange tinge) ,
and yes I went to endgame, that is the exact scene, start of scorpion had 2 cubes lightning like beam attack, wow how did i miss that sorry lol :3
I avoided enterprise as in the first episode it managed to contradict star trek history by making the Klingon's more advanced than Star fleet. It was stated in a next gen episode by Picard that the hostility between the Federation and Klingon's was started at there first contact, and this hostility's lasted for almost a century.

@zebadee277 I know (at least as far as i know) that is hasn't ever been explained how klingons ever discovered warp drive. It is, to me, beyond imagining, unless it was completely by accident, because of the nature of their "all i care about is dying on the battlefield".. just makes it totally unbelieveable.
@ppipowerclass No it doesn't. The Star Trek series have established that there are many different classes of Klingon society; they have doctors, scientists, lawyers (like in Star Trek: The Undiscovered country), ect. it's just that the military rule the Empire and most alien races tent to encounter the Klingon Defense Force than say, a veterenarian.
Nope. Voyager got futuristic torpedo upgrades from Janeway's future counterpart. 8472 use a "beam" attack, they don't fire torpedoes. You can see clearly the weapons being shot into the cube are torpedoes. If you go back and watch Species 8472 footage, they use no such method.
Go back and research before you make contradictions.
An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).
I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.
My BLOG contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers" (use search words "SAM ZURICK" & "BLOG"). THANKS!!
@KrazyKommieKiller All borg cubes are roughly the same, but no it's not the exact same cube. There's a ton of Borg cubes flying around the quadrant. Even when the Queen is destroyed in First Contact, there's still a ton of Borg around. However, with Hugh of Borg and the Queen's death combined, chances are that the Borg have become exponentially less of a threat. The Borg might even become neutral and peaceful, if Hugh manages to gain supreme leadership.
@KrazyKommieKiller All ships are pretty much the same, but I believe each Borg cube assimilate variable amounts of technology, unless they can hook up and share with eachother. That means that one ship might be superadvanced, whereas another one is much more vulnerable. I believe Transphasic technology is the thing they use against them, because it tries out all phase frequencies to find the one that the cube is most vulnerable to, then detonate on that frequency. Or something lol
@DrMadolite You should watch Voyager and read the book series. Your info is a bit outdated.. A lot more happened to the Borg after Picard killed the Queen in First Contact ... Like Janeway killing her a second time.. and such..
@DrMadolite I don't know what you mean.. It's not about contradictions, it's about the Borg storyline having moved forward after First Contact. I'm getting the feeling you don't know what happened after First Contact. Stuff did happen you know?.. Seven of Nine, Borg Queen adapting, arising from the death, then old Janeway from the future killing her in 'End Game' last ep of the Voyager series..
@DrMadolite Then in Non-canon Star Trek series (aka books series) in 'Resistance' the Queen adapts again, Picard becomes Locutus again, blabla Crusher sort of saves the day by killing the Queen.. Then the Borg adapt once again and turn into beings that start absorbing stuff, such as Pluto.. This all happens in 'Before Dishonor' and then Seven of Nine destroys them with the same virus the Enterprise wanted to inject Hugh and the collective with back in the day..
@DrMadolite I'm pretty sure more non-canon stuff happens in the book series, but I haven't read them all yet.. So, yeah.. I'm just saying stuff happened after First Contact.. in a canon as well as in a non-canon way.
I like how everyone is saying that the NX01 could never destroy a borg cube, even though the uploader has already stated that this was an early video of theirs that they put together using a limited resource of clips... I say well done for a good attempt at something a bit different :)

I saw them as being perfectionists, a quality that was amplified when they were assimilated by their own collective.
@MiG2880 I'd have like to see an origin like that, if they made one at all. Honestly, though, I liked to see the Borg as a "force of nature". It doesn't even matter anymore what they were.
@MiG2880 Thats a good origin story, and would make a good movie or novel. But there are other ones like the novels, mainly the Destiny series says alien race caeliar were inadvertently responsible. Mind you novels are not cannon, so your theory is as good as any...

Nothing fancy, nothing complicated, just 1 minute of just basically 'something' to do.
Im sorry to be rude but, NX Enterprise would would not stand a chance with a Borg Cube. If i where the Borg I wouldn't even wast time with it. I would assimilated earth and leave Archer by him self.
Archer was the Best to be honest. For First Cpt. Because he used to be in Quantum Leap. Had many experinces in that show and his father was the first to go to warp and meet the Vulcans so I See no reason why he should not have been. They of course would never seize the klingon empire. The klingons would cut them down with the bat'leths and the barrels of blood wine would be in excess.
I think he was a fine captain. The tired premise of Star Trek combined with the fact that they were tinkering with Starfleet's past did more to sink the show, in my opinion.
I also laugh my ass off whenever I hear the opening song, even though I'm not supposed to.
@trimi38 Remember the two-parter mirror universe Enterprise episode where they captured a ship from Kirk's era? The sets and uniforms were recreated, and it was awesome to behold. I wouldn't mind either a seriesi following another ship from Kirk's time or something from beyond Voyager, so we can get to see all of the post-Voyager technology captured from the delta quadrant in battle.
@trimi38 Thats because Roddenbarry made this show to send a message. like he did with all his shows before star trek. after he died it became just another show. its a shame, Star Trek died prematurely.
@trimi38 Thats because Roddenbarry made this show to send a message. like he did with all his shows before star trek. after he died it became just another show. its a shame, Star Trek died prematurely.
The NX-01 should have been given shileds and engione improvements in Season 2. It should have been the Andorians who would have given that Technology to Captain Archer and to Earth. That would have forced Vulcan's hand. I thought that the Show Enterprise was supposed to be about the founding of the Federation. The show was near awful
this show was cancelled too damn long before it should have been. o btw, the end scene is from voyager endgame part 2.
1 last thing, the borg invaded federation twice..with two cubes, destroying federation fleets in the proccess..if they really wanted too invade earth they woulda sent a couple thousand cubes
omg if federation ships were useless as in TNG Borg would have destroyed Earth and everything with it easily or assimilated everyone. Voyager finally gave hope against the Borg.
There is no way the Enterprise NX 01 can destroy a borg cube, the weapons of the federation were miles inferior to the borg, no wonder Enterprise got cancelled
Enterprise got cancelled cause a lot of people thought it was boring, the stories weren't as good as the other shows, there weren't a lot of viewers and because Nelson Ratings dropped under 2.5 the show got cancelled, but they got the chance to finish their fourth and final season.
Or maybe it's the opening "music" affecting psychologically. When it's, compared to other series, musically such utter, completely disgusting shit, no matter how fitting the crappy lyrics are, it gives a negative sign to the audience.
@BetterthanSchuey Enterprise got cancelled cuz it was too human for the critics. I mean torturing an enemy on a star trek show to save the earth? I find that awesome and realistic, but all the whiney little babies(immature retarded adults) didn't like it and complained cuz they can't stomach reality. So basically if people had grown and realized that's how things really work, it never would have gotten cancelled.
@BetterthanSchuey ìt was wrong at the start. the started wrong with the design of the enterprise. the should have use a deadalus class or variant of it. romulans were more of the problem thats days
But the reason for Voyager being able to destroy so many Borg was due to captain Janeway's cunning tactics, they never destroyed a cube by directly shooting at it. (except for Endgame, in which they had transphasic torpedoes brought from the future) and Voyager also won multiple Saturn awards. IT was also the first star trek show to completley CGI, as opposed to the unrealistic models used in the filming of TNG. And not to mention, Janeway drinks black coffee, while Picard sips his tea.
you are all wrong actually - the first (known) federation vessel to encounter the borg was the uss raven (thats how anneka hanson became 7of 9. But as the borg had travelled back in time in first contact picard destroyed the sphere but we see in enterprise that part of there ship crashed in the artic so technically the nx enterprise was the first starfleet vessel to encounter the borg...
Actually, the Enterprise NX-01 was the first Earth Starfleet ship to encounter the Borg. There was no Federation then. The Raven was the first Federation ship to encounter the Borg, but she was a science ship. The Enterprise D was the first Federation Starfleet ship to encounter the Borg. "From a certain point of view."
As I said in brackets (known) federation vessel was the uss raven . 1st earth ship 2encounter the borg was the artic transport , but with jj abrams ignoring the temporal prime directive &mucking up all the timelines who knows :)
nice to hear from another fan - did u know that there was a planned show 4season 5 of enterprise that they wanted with alice krige in it as an enterprise science officer who gets taken by the borg in a time travel plot &tells the story of how she became their queen
No I didn' hear about that, only about the Mirror Universe episodes being regular happenings. But the MU is off topic. I was just concentrating on the NX being the 1st Starfleet ship, since it was in Earth's Starfleet and not The Federation's Starfleet. The JJ-verse is an alternate time line, like the MU or the ones shown in TNG's Parallels. It has no effect on the ENT/TOS/TNG/DS9/VOY Universe.
From what I gathered, the way it goes is that - 21st century - the information retaining about the 'Borg', because the name was not revealed in ENT, and all information must have been classified for one reason or another.
Do not forget about the El Aurians being saved by the Enterprise-B, from when the Borg destroyed their world, but I think the crew of the E-B wasn't told about it, or told the colony was attacked, and then everything falls into line.
NCC1701J has it about right. In First Contact the Borg attempt to alter history and assimilate Earth in the 21st Century. They altered history, but in no significant way. In this new time line, United Earth Scientist find frozen Borg bodies. The Borg awaken and assimilate the scientists. The Enterprise (NX-01) encounters and defeats them. Things are hushed up. The El Aurians, were given refuge by the Federation about a century later. Again a cover up. The Raven is sent to investigate the Borg.
The Raven becomes the 1st Fed ship to contact the Borg. It's crew is captured, assimilated the youngest person on the ship becomes 7 of 9. The crews of the outposts along the Romulan Neutral Zone are the next members of the Fed's SF to encounter the Borg. Q then hurls the 1701D into the path of the Borg making it the next in line to encounter the Borg. The SF armada at Wolf359 are next. Then Voyager. Other encounters occur until the 1701E stop the Borg in 1st Contact repeating the cycle.
Not even the most seasoned fighters and officers in King Saul's army could take on Goliath, but then one teenage shepherd boy with balls no moyle could tame fell him with a single slingshot blow. Not saying that's a valid analogy, but it never hurts to consider.

archer was a terrible choice for cpt, and one of main reasons why teh show died
yousini 2 years ago
I think he was a fine captain. The tired premise of Star Trek combined with the fact that they were tinkering with Starfleet's past did more to sink the show, in my opinion.
I also laugh my ass off whenever I hear the opening song, even though I'm not supposed to.
unnamednewbie13 2 years ago 2
agreed, what i want is a spin off like voyager was to DS9 but no one can ever even hope to come close to rodenberry's standerds
trimi38 1 year ago 12
@trimi38 Remember the two-parter mirror universe Enterprise episode where they captured a ship from Kirk's era? The sets and uniforms were recreated, and it was awesome to behold. I wouldn't mind either a seriesi following another ship from Kirk's time or something from beyond Voyager, so we can get to see all of the post-Voyager technology captured from the delta quadrant in battle.
unnamednewbie13 1 year ago
@trimi38 Thats because Roddenbarry made this show to send a message. like he did with all his shows before star trek. after he died it became just another show. its a shame, Star Trek died prematurely.

The NX-01 should have been given shileds and engione improvements in Season 2. It should have been the Andorians who would have given that Technology to Captain Archer and to Earth. That would have forced Vulcan's hand. I thought that the Show Enterprise was supposed to be about the founding of the Federation. The show was near awful
Roadracer987654321 2 years ago
this show was cancelled too damn long before it should have been. o btw, the end scene is from voyager endgame part 2.
1 last thing, the borg invaded federation twice..with two cubes, destroying federation fleets in the proccess..if they really wanted too invade earth they woulda sent a couple thousand cubes
dieath2 2 years ago
I never got that I thought Guinan said the borg always attack in large groups. I guess humans are too minor a threat? Strange.
Luigi84289 2 years ago
Which is what they should have done in First Contact.
unnamednewbie13 2 years ago
Um.....how would the primitive NX-01 destroy a Borg Cube with 3 fires?
hunoftel 2 years ago 2
omg if federation ships were useless as in TNG Borg would have destroyed Earth and everything with it easily or assimilated everyone. Voyager finally gave hope against the Borg.
HoldTheWorld 2 years ago
and killed them all.
Luigi84289 2 years ago
guys, first contact created enterprise.
MrHoppers002 2 years ago
There is no way the Enterprise NX 01 can destroy a borg cube, the weapons of the federation were miles inferior to the borg, no wonder Enterprise got cancelled

@NCC1701J Good job!

The Borg ship might looked different in ENT era than the TNG era. In fact, it United Earth, not Federation.
DazhFX 2 years ago
@BetterthanSchuey
Enterprise got cancelled cause a lot of people thought it was boring, the stories weren't as good as the other shows, there weren't a lot of viewers and because Nelson Ratings dropped under 2.5 the show got cancelled, but they got the chance to finish their fourth and final season.
KuroboRealms 2 years ago 3
Or maybe it's the opening "music" affecting psychologically. When it's, compared to other series, musically such utter, completely disgusting shit, no matter how fitting the crappy lyrics are, it gives a negative sign to the audience.
WilfredIvanhoe 2 years ago
sure the nx-01 could just hit the same spot over and over again like in first contact. LOL
MrHoppers002 1 year ago
@BetterthanSchuey although severely inaccurate, i enjoyed it you just need to watch stuff like this with a lighter heart

@BetterthanSchuey How is that related to Enterprise getting cancelled? >.>

@BetterthanSchuey The Enterprise-J would of fuckin raped the borg and your mother:D
Charlie25188 1 year ago
@BetterthanSchuey Enterprise got cancelled cuz it was too human for the critics. I mean torturing an enemy on a star trek show to save the earth? I find that awesome and realistic, but all the whiney little babies(immature retarded adults) didn't like it and complained cuz they can't stomach reality. So basically if people had grown and realized that's how things really work, it never would have gotten cancelled.

BetterthanSchuey, well aren't you just a ray of sunshine. Do you also pop balloons at birthday parties?
AppleSouffle 7 months ago
@BetterthanSchuey it wasn't a borg cube they were attacking he added that in to the video. and enterprise was the best show!
nightslayer78 5 months ago
@BetterthanSchuey ìt was wrong at the start. the started wrong with the design of the enterprise. the should have use a deadalus class or variant of it. romulans were more of the problem thats days

Unrealistic and extremely poor quality!
A Waste of Internet Connection!

This is why ENT and Voyager were stupid shows. They totally devalued a powerful enemy like the Borg.
Remember when the Borg were first shown on TNG, how indestructible they were?
kmg4 2 years ago 4

But as the borg had travelled back in time in first contact picard destroyed the sphere but we see in enterprise that part of there ship crashed in the artic so technically the nx enterprise was the first starfleet vessel to encounter the borg...
cowboykenny21 2 years ago
I know it was the USS Raven, this is my first ever-made video, and was just trying something new, and just added it to my youtube vids
NCC1701J 2 years ago
Actually, the Enterprise NX-01 was the first Earth Starfleet ship to encounter the Borg. There was no Federation then. The Raven was the first Federation ship to encounter the Borg, but she was a science ship. The Enterprise D was the first Federation Starfleet ship to encounter the Borg. "From a certain point of view."
KnightMage 2 years ago 5
As I said in brackets (known) federation vessel was the uss raven . 1st earth ship 2encounter the borg was the artic transport , but with jj abrams ignoring the temporal prime directive &mucking up all the timelines who knows :)
nice to hear from another fan - did u know that there was a planned show 4season 5 of enterprise that they wanted with alice krige in it as an enterprise science officer who gets taken by the borg in a time travel plot &tells the story of how she became their queen
cowboykenny21 2 years ago
No I didn' hear about that, only about the Mirror Universe episodes being regular happenings. But the MU is off topic. I was just concentrating on the NX being the 1st Starfleet ship, since it was in Earth's Starfleet and not The Federation's Starfleet. The JJ-verse is an alternate time line, like the MU or the ones shown in TNG's Parallels. It has no effect on the ENT/TOS/TNG/DS9/VOY Universe.
KnightMage 2 years ago
From what I gathered, the way it goes is that - 21st century - the information retaining about the 'Borg', because the name was not revealed in ENT, and all information must have been classified for one reason or another.
Do not forget about the El Aurians being saved by the Enterprise-B, from when the Borg destroyed their world, but I think the crew of the E-B wasn't told about it, or told the colony was attacked, and then everything falls into line.
Then it was the SS Raven...
NCC1701J 2 years ago
If you're referring to the First Contact movie, then you mean the Enterprise E, right?
cwag123321 2 years ago
NCC1701J has it about right. In First Contact the Borg attempt to alter history and assimilate Earth in the 21st Century. They altered history, but in no significant way. In this new time line, United Earth Scientist find frozen Borg bodies. The Borg awaken and assimilate the scientists. The Enterprise (NX-01) encounters and defeats them. Things are hushed up. The El Aurians, were given refuge by the Federation about a century later. Again a cover up. The Raven is sent to investigate the Borg.
KnightMage 2 years ago
The Raven becomes the 1st Fed ship to contact the Borg. It's crew is captured, assimilated the youngest person on the ship becomes 7 of 9. The crews of the outposts along the Romulan Neutral Zone are the next members of the Fed's SF to encounter the Borg. Q then hurls the 1701D into the path of the Borg making it the next in line to encounter the Borg. The SF armada at Wolf359 are next. Then Voyager. Other encounters occur until the 1701E stop the Borg in 1st Contact repeating the cycle.
KnightMage 2 years ago
The Star Trek production team clearly forgot about the fact that Picard was the first to encounter the borg near system j25.
BetterthanSchuey 2 years ago 2
Yeah, they must have forgotten, lol

I don't understand, the first Federation ship to encounter the Borg was Picard's Enterprise, over a century later. Another Star Trek gaffe!
sully1865 2 years ago
I did it for a laugh, It was my first video, and I was testing how the quality would come out uploading it on youtube.
I didn't upload it for any Star Trek historical or anything like that.
I wanted a new hobby, so I thought and just try making videos.
NCC1701J 2 years ago
The NX01 was too primitive to take on a Borg cube. They would have been slaughtered.
