  • It's shaping up like Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes meets Lost. I like the series but I hope they get to the point in a reasonable time. I stopped watching Lost after 10 episodes when I realised they were just jerking us about. Is planet Carpathia going to be another limbo?

  • @outlander271

...You stopped watching LOST after the first 10 episodes? At what point did you "realise" they were "jeking your about"? :P

  • @JamieHowitt No offence, Jamie! I guess you're a fan of LOST. I was intrigued to begin with and so kept watching. I got the feeling after episode 7 but kept watching to episode 10 on the offchance that they were going to go somewhere with it. I'm 62 with atrial fibrillation and I might not have had that long to wait for the punchline!

    LOL.

  • @outlander271

... but that's less than half of one season, out of a story spanning six whole seasons :P

What actual parts did you think were going nowhere/jerking you about?

  • @JamieHowitt I can't remember the exact details it was so long ago but there is an important phrase in your comment, "six whole seasons". I guess my attention span ain't what it used to be.

  • @outlander271

Haha, well there's that I suppose. I'm just confused as to how you can decide they're pulling your leg after only 10 episodes out of over 120 :P

  • @JamieHowitt The scores on the doors are: Lost: 10 episodes. Jamie: 3 episodes. FAIL! Now if you really want to become a doctor, start studying now. Medicine is a big subject and there is a lot to learn and I want to feel secure in the knowledge that future medics will be able to handle my inevitable dementia, prostate hyperplasia and eventual assisted suicide with competence. Bye bye!

  • @outlander271

    .........what?

    "Jamie: 3 episodes"?

And what does becoming a doctor have to do with LOST OR Outcasts? :S

  • "You need to think less. It'll make life so much easier"

Now there's a line that'll go down well over in the US...

  • I can't wait tell this show starts on BBC America
