Do you have Fireburst? Its a hidden technique, only gotten in Sei-an City. First: find Moley Molster in Taka Pass, beat him, and take his teacup. Take the teacup to the man at the entrance of Taka Pass, and he'll give you a Golden Mushroom ( Pt. 25, 4:00 onwards /watch?v=yltmoIFEgwI ).

Take the Golden Mushroom to Fiery Chef Yama in Sei-an City (Commoner's Qtr.). Give him the mushroom, talk to him, and help him with his recipe, and you'll get Fireburst ( Pt. 76, 1:07 onwards [just for reference to where the restaurant is] /watch?v=biCKJ0SOJFg ).

Ammy is a reincarnate of Shiranui. Basically Shiranui reborn. But they can't see her red markings, so they think Ammy's either a regular wolf or looks very similar to Shiranui (Pt. 3, 8:08).

You need the water tablet, which you can purchase from the Emperor of Sei-an City (if you're actually at this point right now), for 100 demon fangs.

she used the karmic tranformation to change ammy's appereance. you can change her appereance after you complete the game.

You only get 2 Karmic Transformers 'for free' (excluding the Karmic Returner) when you beat the game, though.

You can get the rest of them by fulfilling certain requirements when beating the game:

Karmic Returner - Complete the game

#1 & 2 - Complete the game

#3 - Earn S-Rank for Deaths

#4 - Earn S-Rank for Enemies Defeated

#5 - Earn S-Rank for Money Gained

#6 - Earn S-Rank for Demon Fangs Found

#7,8 & 9 - Earn S-Rank for Praise Earned

It might be possible to go back to the Spirit Gate after you go through Wawku, but there's also another opportunity to obtain the Trinity Mirror in the very last area you go to (which will be after Wawku Shrine).

The Trinity Mirror is available at Sei-an City after Oni Island and sadly, the Spirit Gate is shut tight.

Oh so you can disable the cannons. I feel so stupid. I stopped playing okami for awile after i got in the temple. Those stupid cannons kept hitting me when I was trying to get past those ice covered spinning wheel things, and I tried cutting them but it didnt work.

Sorry for not replying so quickly (a month! D:).. You walk on water by getting the Water Tablet by purchasing it from the Emperor with Demon Fangs (after you defeat the Dark Lord).
