If you haven't heard Billy Bragg doing this song it is worth checking out.

Okay. Listen here. Blink 182 is just as the same as Rancid in many ways. Rancid, Green Day and The Offspring did bring the punk rock to life again in the early 90's. Blink 182 is good music. Rancid is veeery good music. Old 90's Offspring and Green Day is the king. Smash and Dookie is truly one of the best albums in history. So is And out come the wolves is just genious. But remember though you earn money doesn't mean you're a complete sell out. There's a difference between NSync and Blink 182.

Blink is terrible music, Rancid is pretty good music. As far as 90s punk, I'd much rather listen to Bad Religion or Propagandhi than Offspring or Green Day. I don't even like their old stuff that much.

hmm, i think that can be argued either way, rancid was/is a huge influence on the punk culture whether anyone likes it or not, they might not be the ramones, or the clash or anything like that but in my opinion rancid is pretty much what has been keeping punk alive for the last little while. even in an interview on here, lars with ric blair he says that rancid basically wanted to be the ramones, just different of course, and they really know there shit, maybe instead of saying they're not punk-
