How do you motivate yourself to sit down and do the work? I have a lot of anxiety before I start to work and while I'm working. Do you do anything to relax before working? How do you stop excessive self-criticism and comparing yourself to other artists?
Your book has got me interested in drawing comics digitally. It covers off on a lot of issues I've always had with drawing traditionally. Having said that, I'm thinking about picking up a Wacom tablet. In your book, you mention a 6x11 as the size you prefer. I was wondering if that size is ever a bit too small for you or why you ended up with that size? I'm assuming it's a little better for widescreen monitors (which is what I have), but I was thinking about trying to get a 12x12.
Adding to truebeliever001's question, do you have option to modify panel scheme in script to adjust pacing of story? Do you negotiate changes with writer? Do you prefer full script or simple narrative without panel breakdowns?
comissions question what do I need to add in a commision how many pages ,characters, covers, comic pages ect and is it okay to pencil your work then copy it off and ink the copy work so you can have a penciled and ink page for comissions
Subject: a video talking about the legality of commission work. Lots of people do it but is it legal? Can an inde artist do dc heroes? Or marvel characters? Selling sketch cards also would be a good subject.
Invader Zim was created by a comic guy named Jhonen Vasquez

I don't know anything about it, can you send me a link?
Or, hey, if you did the video, I'd watch it :)

What are thoughts on touchscreens of computers working digitally?

Hey Freddie,
How do you motivate yourself to sit down and do the work? I have a lot of anxiety before I start to work and while I'm working. Do you do anything to relax before working? How do you stop excessive self-criticism and comparing yourself to other artists?
Thanks!

is it kosher to email editors out of the blue with maybe a link to your online portfolio... or do they really look down on that.

How detailed are the scripts you receive from the authors? How much of the layout and design of the comic is actually your own imagination?
