Thanks for posting this. I had an 82 camaro just like this (except mine was painted silver) back in high school.

Fun car to drive. Great choice in music. I still remember blasting iron maiden, scorpions, skid row, motley crue, etc, from the speakers while cruising main street.

The stuntman was really sawing the hell out of the steering wheel to make the car fishtail. 3rd gen camaros handled much better than that.

Watching this reminds me of good times and good heavy metal.

Yes, that is all they remember about them, because this was a MAJOR safety issue with these cars. I heard that Mustangs and Crown Vics had the same problem too, but Ford liked to cover things up.

You must not know your camaros very well. I own that car, same color and all. GM made the same style z28 camaro from 82-84 and in 85 they changed the ground effects and the lights on the nose. Go to google and look it up or just look at a picture of a 82 camaro and a 87 camaro side by side and you can see the difference..

yeah, pretty darn sure. hehe, you can check out some pics online if you can and see that all 82's and a majority of 83's have black side mirrors and spoiler. Also more were produced in 83 and the most third gens ever were made in 84, therefore 84 has the highest probability :)
