  • does he actually make a mistake at 2:52? He should have somebody turn the page for him.

  • I love this final movement of the op.4 #1 - my favorite of all Haendel's organ concerti - beautifully done.

  • semplicemente divino grazie karl!

  • @MERYESTUARDO Puez de que cielo se refiere chabala?

  • I'm afraid you can't help but smile at that beautifully delicate registration change at 1:14

    Lovely piece!

  • @OPHYCLIDE it's all heavenly from 1:14 indeed, activates parts in the brain you never knew were there :-)

  • I especially like Movement 4 of this concerto. Bikercowboy makes a good point that I agree with. :)

  • Every time I hear this part my heart ans soul starts to jump with joy and loughter and it gets me out of anykind of sad feelings. Love it.

  • Oh! It's great to see this! Thanks for posting it!

I have an audio CD of this same performance, along with other Handel Organ Concertos. Whenever I have trouble getting to sleep, I put it on, and it does the trick! This piece is toward the beginning of the CD, so I know it well. The pieces toward the end - well, I don't know them as well!

In fact, I'm getting drowsy right now!

  • Correction - Upon seeing the other videos in this series, I guess my CD is not of the same performance. But this video sounds identical to my CD!

  • Branchporter:There is a difference and you can

listen to it on :1:18 seconds of this video:the organ solo in the video starts on the 3rd manual of the organ(if you count from

below going up)and there is a mutant stop that

is used in the video called NAZARD.This stop

is not used on the CD (same part, because later

lots of stops are added)The NAZARD has a nasal

sound (like nose).Listen to it.I like it better here in the video Richter uses all manuals, giving more color.

    THANKS ROBOTECH.
