Oh! It's great to see this! Thanks for posting it!
I have an audio CD of this same performance, along with other Handel Organ Concertos. Whenever I have trouble getting to sleep, I put it on, and it does the trick! This piece is toward the beginning of the CD, so I know it well. The pieces toward the end - well, I don't know them as well!
does he actually make a mistake at 2:52? He should have somebody turn the page for him.

I love this final movement of the op.4 #1 - my favorite of all Haendel's organ concerti - beautifully done.

I'm afraid you can't help but smile at that beautifully delicate registration change at 1:14
Lovely piece!

Correction - Upon seeing the other videos in this series, I guess my CD is not of the same performance. But this video sounds identical to my CD!
Branchporter 3 years ago
Branchporter:There is a difference and you can
listen to it on :1:18 seconds of this video:the organ solo in the video starts on the 3rd manual of the organ(if you count from
below going up)and there is a mutant stop that
is used in the video called NAZARD.This stop
is not used on the CD (same part, because later
lots of stops are added)The NAZARD has a nasal
sound (like nose).Listen to it.I like it better here in the video Richter uses all manuals, giving more color.
THANKS ROBOTECH.
