Pat Stogran wasn't a party member which is why we should have expected he can express himself without any problem.  Then again the budget watchdog gives reports with contradict the current gov't messages and they make his honest job harder than it already is.

It's sad that injured veterans get less nowadays. It's almost a sick joke that the Tories boast about supporting the troops but cut the benefits for those soldiers who are wounded and the public doesn't notice or care.

Iggy is not fit to be Prime Minister, Layton would be good but the NDP will never win, the Green party is not strong enough, and the Bloc only run in Quebec. The Tories will most likely win the next election and Iggy knows it, that is why he will not try to force another election any time soon.

@stevebergen Is Iggy any less fit than Harpy or Jackie Boy? None of the three ever served in the army, pulled a cat out of a tree or look content to bounce a toddler on their knee. But only one has got us into a record deficit after promising there wouldn't be one. Things might change for the better if we disallow anymore political ads which are nothing more than politically motivated personal attack ads.

Its irrelevant if you care or not, its about doing what is right. If you lost your leg at your job, you would be looked after with WSIB and other insurance and government programs for life. Why should veterans have any less than you, even after they have stood in harms way in the best interest of our nation as a whole? You may not support a specific mission that they are tasked too, but it is our job as a nation to support the troops.
