my crf450 got 163kph on gps, 14 tooth front sprocket... probly about 140 on stock gearing which its back on now.... and bullshit u had the front wheel on the ground with the throttle wide open, something wrong with ur bike if u did :)

Wow. The top speed all depends on the size of your sprockets. Stock gearing on a crf450r will give 67-78 mph top speed. Change some sprocket sizes and you could get it going 90+mph. No point anyway unless you are using it on the wide open road. 70mph in the dirt is pretty fucking insane. So stock gearing is mint.

I had a KTM 425 EXC and at night I got it up to 64 my first time riding it and still hadn't popped it into 6th. Have a crf 450 X now......no speedomater but i've tapped 6th full throttle....Ya you're going 70 easily....but is this guy going 70..no. ..
