Everybody says this is the best version yet, but there's only that is just a slight bit better that this one. All the videos I've seen so far - this is only second best out of dozens of videos. The one thing I can't figure out is why no one knocks on the body before starting the solo - that's Eddie in the background doing that. He even admits in in the February 1990 interview of Guitar World magazine.

very well played - work on your timing in the phrases. Each note (no matter how fast/short) has a precise duration and you are rushing/forcing your play. Relax and really listen to the feel and timing of Eddie's solo. You have the skills just get the feel right. Eddie's solo is chaos...but it's organised.

its tuning is exactly a half step. instead of standard EADGBE, its Eb,Ab,Db, and so on. its what eddie plays everything in, except for songs like runnin with the devil which i think is drop d.

i used to have a crap les paul copy and i was like u could shred the hell out of it but it was never quite right

so i bought a real les paul and i have become so much better at making tunes

u may wanna check out either a fender or a gibson explorer or even SG for your kinda playing i know money may not be easy but trust me it makes your life so much easier

Thanks for your advice. Nonetheless I already own a fender strat. To be honest up until now, my Schecter C1 FR that I'm using in this video is the best guitar i've ever played in terms of feel, ease of play and performance - even before I'd had it set up professionally. Ive played on many other original fenders aswell as a Gibson SG, which didn't come close in my oppinion. My Schecter is great and I love it.
