  • @nylahboo1 Get out!!! I purchased 2 bottles at JCPenney on saturday. It was buy one @ $15.39 get the other for $1. At first I thought the sale sign was for the other products, good thing I asked the cashier to check. It's always better to ask than to assume.

  • Thanks for this informative video; I know I am super late but I have just transformed back to relaxed hair and will be looking into to trying some aphogee products because my hair seems to be damaged all of sudden and hopefully this helps. Thanks again your hair is really pretty.

  • Thank u so much I just purchased my products OMG CHI is costly but I'm going to invest in my hair. Will post before and after. Thanks again

  • This works! I just did my entire regimen (except I used a blowdryer) and my hair is FABULOUS! Thank you Ateya! I will continue this (minus the protein treatment) every week.

  • R u from memphis???..

  • What if your not perming your hair no more then when should you do the two step protein

  • whats the difference in using the deep moisturizing shampoo and the damaged hair shampoo cuz i think i made a boo boo in my shipping products...smt

  • Hey ateyaaa i live in the bahamas and unfortunatley no beauty store carries the CHI silk infusion is there anything else that you can recommend?

  • @Neekz09 i live in the Bahamas too...so hard to get stuff over here. I think you might want to invest in getting a US address. save u lotta money!! :)

  • Okay, I just returned my Chi. No it works, but I got the genetic from Sally's. Same ingredients, same smell, same texture, Chi 22.99, the genetic 8.99.

  • @triniwwee Could you tell me what the chi knockoff is called? Thanks

  • Your hair is gorgeoussss:)

  • How long have you been using the product before you saw results?

  • Damn guh all these products shooo I'm on a budget! =-)

  • @bwakwaib83 I bought one item a week till I got it together. I went to several hair care stores and managed to get most of this for 5.99 a piece. The Chi silk infusion was 22.99 6oz. But then I discovered folica.com, they have it for 17.00. I just got it today (from Giant, hair stores sold out), so I guess I'll buy it from them next time.

  • @bwakwaib83 I promise you will see results its really worth it but you can pick up a few at a time ive only been doing this regimen for a month and my hair is looking healthy has stopped shredding and it does have a swang to it when i walk so its a good investment im on a budget to so i feel ya on that.

  • omg i want your hair lol. i just have so much trouble staying with a regimen lol. but yours seems relatively simple so imma try it. For now i'll try it in conjunction with my clip in extensions (because my natural hair is ridiculously short right now......like maybe 8 inches all around). it looks layered :/ long pieces in the back but short on top. idk why

  • just purchased yesterday. beautiful hair!

  • Your hair is beautiful, I recently cut my damaged hair really short, now i'm usung your regimen! Thank You!

  • @TheLathia Hey, go in c'bean queen in bridge street ( next to melwanis, located in mall where Trimart was) Shampoo for damged hair is - 13 (16 oz), keratin 2 min reconstructor is $13 (8 oz), keratin green tea restructurizer is 15 and the leave in conditioner $10. Hopes this helps, I can only give the prices of the sizes I have. But I went in Diamond girl and I saw the dif in price of the two-step protein treatment(I think, if not another product) compared to in there and I was sooo confused.

  • What type of perm do you use. Your hair is beautiful.

  • @Aggilliam0311: before she was sponsored or affiliated with Motions haircare products, she had a video on here where she did a relaxer. She used Affirm. She's the reason I started doing my own relaxers =)

  • my hair is softer and the dry brittle ends are improving.. Also what ihave learned is that all shampoois NOT the same.. Sometimes u have to invest a little to get desired results..i have used optimum, cream of nature, etc ... This is the best for MY hair so far

  • i saved this video in my favs months ago because i used to use these products in the 90's... So i finally made my purchases, and i am sooo pleased witn how my hair is improving.. So i thought i would let u know and so others will know as well .. Thank u for this video

  • i dont know if i like Ateyaaa or her accent better :-)

  • how do you get your hair so bouncy???

  • lol u look like lisaraye leslie the actress

  • I will use your video to make all my relaxed hair friends feel shame! I'm natural..but If my relaxed hair looked like YOURS...baby!....I'd be the baddest thing walking.

  • @Carmen I think the gel you mean is the designer touch moisture lock finishing gel. It is good for the edges and it smells nice. Hope that helped :-)

  • Ateyaa, I've been looking through all your vids and can not find the one where you mention the gel you use to tame your edges, could you PLEASE, PLEASE, tell me the name? Thank you so much for taking the time.

  • ok the hair is nice don't get me wrong but there is a time and place for everything. if your gonna post videos please try to conduct yourself in a professional manor.I clicked on your video for tips not ghetto slang within in minutes of the video I immediately clicked off because I was so annoyed by your behavior. Im all for having fun and acting silly but the beginning clip was jus plain ghetto and annoying. I do not condon black women hating on one another but I will be honest with my opinon.

  • @allenivero123 Don't be a dicki is this your you-tube channel? didnt think so.

  • @allenivero123 If you had gotten over yourself and watched the video you could have learned a lot. I too am not for foolishness but I wouldn't call her intro "ghetto slang", it's called having personality. She was actually very much professional, she showed us the products she used, the purpose, and lots of helpful tips. The video was VERY informative but unfortunately you missed all of that b/c you decided to be judgmental. That's just immature and plain ignorant and that's my honest opinion.

  • @allenivero123 I think all of Ateyas' subscribers would disagree with your opinion. The last time I checked, this was her channel. That means she can say or act however she would like. I'm going to make a preconceived notion, and decide that you are ignorant. She makes excellent videos, and gives very useful advice. In my honest opinion, you are a hater.

  • @allenivero123 I have to say I agree. I love Ateya but this is the only video from her that I did not like.

  • Stopped because I was lazy. Restarting tonight thanks Ateya :)

  • HAHA! You're so goofy

  • @xInusHotiex Thing is I dont care what you think...nor should I. I asked if her nose was that big cuz I can. IDK you think you are but you need to get a clue, that you dont run shit but your mouth. I'll comment on what I want, when I want. If I wanna say that bitch got a big Gonzo ass nose...i will :) LOL @ you saying "stay of Snuffaluffagus page with that nonsense"

  • @yupyupANDyupsummore whatever...all I know is the woman said she didn't want any drama on her page. If you're grown, u do u....but u r acting like you're a child....Ateyaaa will be the 1 who bans u from her page or block ya silly behind...smh

  • @yupyupANDyupsummore YOU ARE SAD.

  • Thank you!!! I follow your hair regimen because I was clueless and didn't have patience with my hair. I follow your regimen and I'm satisfied with my hair. I patiently flat iron my hair and bump it; and was happy with the results.so once again, Thank You!

  • Thanks so much for this video explaining the products u use this is exactly what my hair needs.

  • Very Nice, I'm a little concerned with all the heat that is being put on the hair. I'm surprised that the hair looks for silky with the bandana. I'm a hairstylist and I see alot of good with the regimen. You go girl!!!

  • ateyaaa you have a good personality!!! love your regimen and GOD Bless

  • I had to watch this video twice & my hair is natural! Good tips.

  • do u use da aphogee every week or every other week

  • @strawberrycapricorn I use aphogee every week. My hair is natural. I don't know how your hair is, but even if you were relaxed, I would suggest you use it every week because your hair needs a good conditioning every week. I also would suggest that after you rinse out the conditioner, (while it's wet) MOISTURIZE!!!!

  • THANKS I FOLLOWED YOUR APHOGEE PRODUCTS AND IT GREW MY HAIR BACK PAST MY BRA LINE. HAIR DOWN MY BACK SO THANKS YOU AND IT GREW MY SISTERS HAIR BACK AS WELL.. • What relaxer do you use?

  • @richgirl16 She uses (or atleast to use) Affirm. It's a really good product. I use to use it when I was relaxed. Only thing is that you can't find it everywhere,

  • That's so healthy with the shine and bounce...wow!!

  • Girl I am in LOVE with your videos =). Keep it up!!

  • i actually love you your so nice!!

  • @dimmeow lol....Somebody get dimm a new channel lol. buh- bye

  • @shawniegirl19800 I was referring to the pep she has at the beginning of the video. It makes the video more fun to watch.

  • @shawniegirl19800 I was referring to the pep she has at the beginning of the video; it's super cute and it improves the overall viewing quality of the video.

  • learn to spell tutorial

learn to speak a complete sentence in english

  • IM confused..can u just use the aphogee shampoo n conditioner??? cause u said somehting about a relaxer or perm..that threw me off.. : /

  • i love this regimen!!!

  • Bought love the aphogee n I kno I need the Nu-gro too, loving your regimen though! Did it love it!

  • Hey is it protein overload to apply the Aphogee 2-min. reconstructor for a max of 5-minutes and then do a deep-condition with silicon mix/regular conditioner and still use the Aphogee Leave-In conditioner? I'm thinking of trying this, I've just begun my Hair Journey and would love some advice (I can't afford any setbacks or mistakes), thanks.

  • ur hair is beautiful....u remind me of vivica foxx, similar personalities.

  • can you tell me what's gonna do if I don't use the 2 step before relaxing my hair and can i use it on braids???

  • Your funny

  • I just got into Aphogee products and I love them, thank you Ateya, I will be taking some of your advice.

  • Oh i love this video cos this was my veryfirst ateyaa video i stumbled on in 2007 and got hooked since. time sure does fly. We have come sister. We love you Ateyaa greetings from Europe.

  • I agree, Aphogee products are incredible for Black hair. They strengthen and condition hair the best.

  • gurl, youre so funny:)

  • awesome video and your is so Beautiful, looks like silk .. thanks for the info.. Have a Blessed Day..

  • Wow, I am up here simply to get some healthy hair tips and you have some random people with nothing to do complaining about what someone else is doing with THEIR own hair? Obviously someone with a problem with perm needs to get a job or a bill to pay to keep them occupied with something else besides sitting at home on you tube complaining about relaxers. Get Life. (not even using "a") lol PS, I hope this rawr person also only eats organic foods, clothing, personal care products too. Doubt it.

  • @Kinlees What does me eating organic food, wearing organic clothing and personal care have to do with anything? 0_o

  • @xXRawrJanisXx Wellll, it seems you are concerned about the harsh chemical makeup of the relaxer than you are obviously aware of the harsh chemicals that are in countless other personal and household products/items such as our clothing, fruits and vegetables, soaps, laundry detergent, beverages and dairy products. So I think we and you get more toxins in your body from everyday living than a black woman can get in a relaxer every 6 to 8 weeks or longer if their are stretching the relaxer.

  • @Kinlees You've got it wrong, I have no problem with relaxers. I think you want to direct that at @shifragi. I defend anyone's desire to use a relaxer, however she's under the impression you aren't a real "sister" if you use one.

  • This information definitely helped me, I'm only using the nu-gro hair products right now but I think i should have bought Aphogee first and than nu-gro but I will definitely be ordering aphogee soon from Amazon.com as well as the Keracare products with it, just too switch up on all three products such as Nu-gro,Aphogee,Keracare just to have them all!! Than maybe a year from now I'll order the Paul Mitchell!!

  • how often should you use the aphogee products? the whole process of the shampoo, conditioner, 2-min, and leave in is done once a week or twice?

  • aphogee shampoo is the worst shampoo EVER! i hate that shit. i like everything else from aphogee tho

  • aphogee does wonders...realistically speaking, i have not relaxed my hair in almost 2 years and i started using this product about 3 months ago...i did not see results until after the 2nd wash!!! what also helped my hair was carrot oil grease and a nice trim and my hair went from flab to FAB!!!

  • ok i just wanted to know if you can tell me if this works with really curly hair

  • lol yhu are hilarious!

  • Straighten every week?? I'm stretching and the new growth is giving me really bad headaches, but everywhere I look straightening is a big no no. It looks like it works for you, maybe it'll work for me

  • Ateyaaa- Do you wash your hair weekly and do this regimen ?

  • Now that what I wanted for my hair. Your hair looks lovely.

  • Im really sick of the Relaxed vs. Natural war. Having "natural" hair does not make your hair better than anybody else's. Let Ateya do her and get off her page.

  • @MsMochaDiva It most certainly makes one's hair "healthier" if they are natural. It is really too bad so many sisters are still victims of mental slavery.

  • @shifragri Black Hair is beautiful (permed or not!) It is the ability to create various styles (from straight to kinky) that distinquishes us a people. Perm is not the Eurocentric opressor, it is a personal choice and F.Y.I everyone who is natural is not healthy. Ive seen some Natural Nazis who feel the need to impose their personal beliefs on everyone, who cant hold a comb to Ateya. Please do not @me. Like I said I'm sick of the war.

  • @MsMochaDiva Putting dangerous chemicals on your scalp that alters your natural hair texture and BURNS your scalp is mental slavery not personal choice. I don't put my views on others, I just voice my opinions and others take offense, that is not my problem.

  • @shifragri mental slavery?don't you think that is a bit extreme?if that's the case, why do i see natural women straightening their hair also?Even if its not with chemicals, some natural women like the straight look sometimes.Women with relaxed hair just enjoy the straight look all the time its not slavery 8-)

  • @luvinmysailor Thank u sister...u took the words right out of my mouth. I believe her opinion stems out of severe ignorance, insecurity or a lotta brain washing.(could be all 3). <3

  • @rettrois all 3 lol :)

  • @shifragri N This Part >> N No U Cant Get The Same Results With Just A Flat Iron, If U Cud No 1 Wud Be Relaxed Duhhh .... Waz Meant 4 @KTBEverlasting

  • @mookie12345678987654 If one took proper care of their NATURAL hair and occasionally flat iron, YES one could get the same results. But sisters will continue to put dangerous chemicals on their hair in order to mimic the majority's population stringy and flimsy hair type.

  • @shifragri Ummmmm Yu Sound Very Stupid Because If Yu Cud Get The Same Results Then Their Wud Be No Point In A Relaxer, N It Also Depends On The Hair Texture If Yu Will Get The Same Results ........ N Like I Said Its Ur Choice 2 Be Natural Nobody Gives A Flyin Rats Ass About Ur "Healthy Hair", U Just Had 2 Try And Put A Sista Dwn Because Yu Saw She Waz Getting So Many Compliments About How Beautiful And HEALTHY Her Hair Iz .... Yu + Ur Hair = A Bitch :-))))

  • @mookie12345678987654 Seek help for your delusions.

  • @shifragri Bitch Kiss The Fattest Part Of My Ass !!!!!

  • @shifragri There's nothing wrong with relaxed hair. White women perm their hair. Asian women will curl their hair. Latinas want straight hair too. What does this have to do with being a "sister"? What matters is her hair is happy and healthy. One does not need to have "Natural Black hair" to be a true "sister". You don't have to be a natural Nazi on this page, it does no good.

  • @xXRawrJanisXx You women who insist on putting dangerous chemicals in your hair in order to have straight hair are really lost. If you are so secure in your pov why become so angry that someone states a opposing view?

  • @shifragri You didn't answer my question, what does having straight hair do to make you a better "sister"? I'm not angry that you oppose what I firmly believe is anyone's right to do to their hair, I'm pissed that you bring in one's "Blackness" because natural hair is so much better. That's why I'm pissed. You say, "You women" like any chick who relaxes her hair is of a complete different sect or race. What the fuck?

  • I love your hair!

  • BLACK ASSSS INTRO!

  • Work it girl..... Have you tried the NEW MAZURI OLIVE OIL Products

  • Thanks but no thanks, putting a relaxer in your hair is damaging. Her hair "looks" so-called healthy, but it is not. She has alter her hair from her natural beautiful kinky curly texture to some flat stringy strands. No Thanks, I will stay natural and have REAL healthy hair, not be some weak imitation of the majority culture's hair.

  • @shifragri Especially when you can get the same results with a flat iron and the hair can revert back to its natural state. It's kind of a win/win for naturals.

  • @shifragri: oh pleeeaaaseee shut up! She's relaxed, get over it! I'm so sick of this natural vs relaxed hair debate. I am natural but i can still appreciate healthy relaxed when i see it. Why r u trying to associate relaxed hair with so much negativity? Don't forget that you visited this page out of your own free will....if you don't like it, change the channel! PS: I don't care for your response, so don't bother.

  • @rettrois If you don't care why did you take the time to replied to a complete stranger? Relaxed hair is unhealthy and it is nothing more than slave mentality. :)

  • @shifragri all relaxed hair is not damaged
