i got that gathering at the nemesis set, expecting a G1 repaint soundwave, the fallen and this megatron. i got 2/3. the megatron i got's wings have warped out of shape. he cant stand, unless you have the wings folded forward. *sighs*. youre only bying that set for the soundwave, and possibly the fallen.

The poor proportions of Leader-class Megs is why i didn't get him, but I also didn't want a Megs standing shorter than Leader-class OP v2, which is why I didn't get Voyager Megs! Plus there is the whole backpack thing, and simplicity of transformation in the larger one.

Someday in the future, i would really like Hasbro & TakaraTomy to take a second shot at doing Leader-class RotF Megs. (Of course, DotM Megs is a whole new robot... AGAIN!)

I think the colours are great. It makes sense to be a rusted sea green after being at the bottom of the ocean for 2 years.

I got battle blades optimus prime, ausome together with voyager megatron. I used silver crome nail polish to the details i believe should be silver and what a difference megatron looks. Thanks for the review i liked it . And i know you will get rid of voyager optimus prime ,once you get the new battle blades.The alternate transformation flying plane tank, genius you figured it out.

If it weren't for the terrible colours and the fact that I kinda like my Megatrons and Optimuses to be livin' large, I would get this in a heartbeat. The sculpting and awesome and honestly it really looks like Megatron (the backpack kinda breaks up the look, but I have yet to see a PERFECT usage of kibble on the smaller classes of Transformers).

I agree this one is much better than the leader class megatron. i wish they had mad the leader class from this design instead of what they did make it from. the leader class looks like he rides the short bus to school he is that bad. i am glad i saw the voyager class version right next to the leader class in the store because i was going to buy the leader class before i saw this one.

I can't like this version of Megatron at all, no matter what anyone says. The backpack, the color scheme, let alone the size, all kill it for me. Not to mention the fact that he has goofy wings for some bizarre reason. His feet stink, IMO, the Leader has much better feet. And regardless of the CANNON and gimpy nature of the Leader's arms, I think they're better than this one's. This guy's shoulders also have weird, and only halfway functional articulation.

I'd have to agree here- pretty much all the movie Meg's kinda suck. This one actually looks pretty decent save for the excess of green. If they'd used the silver paint from the original movie megatron voyager- THAT would make him 10 times more imposing. Prolly make a semi decent project for a fan repaint tho.

You did the same backpack-tab thing I do! All I do extra is stick up the moving flaps as spike thingamadoos. Much love for this figure; only movie Voyager until Bludgeon releases. Combined with the Legend Megatron, the two make a creepily adorable father-son pairing.

Kinda off topic, but I found ouf that Legends Megatron can turn into a backpack for Legends Fallen, almost intentionally by the look of it, although it is more of an "Armchair of Doom" deal. I will have pics if requested.

This Megatron has a "hidden" 3rd transformation..the cybertron jet mode...google around the net and u might find it...

I repainted this Megatron with bronze chrome, and he looks superb!!! He's dark-bronze-metallic color is unmatched!! i finished the repaint by spraying him with gloss spray for model kits, (hes' evil,hes dark colored, he's glossy,hes chrome!! and he has a 3rd transformation not mentioned in the manual!!! what more can i ask for?!?) now he is THE BEST rotf figs i ever owned!
