  • no fence the skirt is ugly sorry

  • In this video you will need the following :) love it

  • boooooooooo boooooooooo booooooooooooo boooooooooooooo booooooooooooooo booooooooooo booooooooooooooooo boooooooooooooooo booooooooooooooo bo boooooo

  • You make it sound so hard, but it is incredibly easy, I'd say a more advanced easy :D love the design!

  • Hi! I just discovered your how to sew- videos and they are amazing! I was just wontering if you could please start "translating" the measures into centimeters, because I have no idea how much an inch is, and it's impossible to get a measuring band with inches where I live.. xD It would make it so much easier for european viewers.

  • Can you make this with more layers? I was wanted to make one with tulle instead of lace

  • i looked this up because i need to make a outfit for tomorrow, and i dont wanna repeat to fast.

    THANKS!!

i make doll clothes, but i should be able to do this..

  • I really love it but i want to lurn how to make it without the machine cuz i dont got one :(

  • @awesomeaznamy I think it is elastic, cause they look the same, but it's just thinner. :)

  • WOW! that was confusingly terrible. Really hard to follow. Maybe if you use terms like right side/wrong side instead of rough side/smooth side and rubberband? I have been sewing many years and never heard of that one. Were you meaning elastic? How about a do over with measures and more sew friendly terminology. Nice try anyhow.

  • hey i love this skirt thx for the video i will try to make this skirt for my niece but want to know do you make for lace pockets and you attach theme together or what? cuz it hard to follow

and since you made the stretch ribbon why do you need pleats for?no need for hemming or serging for satin right?

sorry i have a lot of questions is those 4 lace strips have the same wideth based on you hips measurements and same question for satin stripes need to know wideth and lengeth of each strip?

  • okay.... i dont wanna be mean but i dont really get it like your explanation is so messy i dotn really know what to do im not sure about the measurings or anything i would love if you could make a more detailed video where you explain slowly and dont cut parts cuz its pretty annoying

  • yur amazine!

  • this was really fantastic .. i wish i could do this

  • the endproduct is stunning!!

...but i bet i wouldn be capabale to do sometinhg like that...

  • i don't like the explanation.

  • this is too complicated x_x

  • I'm really not trying to be rude when I say this, because I know making tutorials isn't always easy, but I found this hard to follow.

  • why dont you make this video again and show us what you really did...

  • sorry but i found this tut really har to understand it might just be me but yerrrr

  • What is the song in the video that you keep playing? I haven't heard it in a long time and don't remember the title... Thanks!

  • Whats DIY? This skirt is so precious! I will definitely try to see how mine turns out :) Keep doing videos! Where do you buy your fabric? Hope to hear from you soon!

  • @michinette3 DIY: do it yourself.

  • Whats DIY? This skirt is so precious! I will definitely try to see how mine turns out :) Keep doing videos!

  • not to be mean but y u sell ELF product when we can buy it outsite at target only have to pay for tax . if we buy on your site we have to pay for shipping..... i dont get that part

  • Okay, So I was wondering how to make just a simple skirt without all the lace and without a sewing machine. Is that like possible?

  • @flatchestgurl2 i use needle and thread!its slow bt hey!!u get a tank out or in ur case a skirt!!give it go!!after i made ma tank top..it took me 2days!!i was so proud of it!!!lol!!!try making ii!u feel gud!!

  • @TheCraphater u inspire me :)

  • okay so one thing im confused on:

The lace strips. so you need 3 peices 40 by 5 in AND 3 peices 24 by 5 1/2 inches???

wouldnt taht be 6 strips all together? haha im confused

  • You explanation made no sense to me ha sorry. :))

  • hey do u live in milpitas? wud u mind making me a shirt?

  • Does it have to be lace? can it be chiffon? :) btw great video.

  • the skirt at the very end.. thats not the proper way of sewing an exposed zipper... you basically just appliqued it to the skirt.. i recommend buying this really good book reader's digest complete guide to sewing.. it teaches you how to do all the proper finishes.

  • i LOVE the skirt and i would like to make it but i got lost at the bit after you sewed the waist band and the first tier on; when you sew the the other tiers on do you repeat the same prosess you did with the waist band?? if not PLEASE CAN YOU EXPLAIN??! because i really want to make this for a wedding i am going to :) thank you if you can take the time to reply to me ^

  • how much fabric is that in meters? please?

  • this is kinda hard to follow but i love your result ^^

  • awesome background music!

  • Oh i get it! You are already supposed to have your base skirt set up, then you sew the tiers to it! I never understood that concept! You are so amazing. I like to make my own prom dresses and wanted to tire this years!

  • @ilovecandy1393 Sorry but would you please mind explaining to me the concept of making this skirt after you create the waistband: how do you create/sew the other tiers together/on?? because i'm confussed and i really want to make this! Thank you very much for your time if you reply to me :)

  • How do you sew each layer onto each other?

  • can u put it down also in cms?

  • Hmm.. u haven't really explained the process that well.. but it's ok, I think I got it.. thanks..

  • this is one of the most complicated videos i have seen. But nice skirt! ^-^

  • do you strech the rubberband as you stich ?

  • @tarnef yes!

  • @tarnef you realy dnt need a elastic /rubberband for this project she used it to create ruffles for the matter which can be easily created by sweing a basic stich on your cloth and then pulling it to create those ruffles!!!!!!!

  • ur awesome! i really enjoy this vid!

  • i love your videos ally!! You have come a long way on youtube!!

  • doing a long version of this to wear with a peticoat for my wedding dress...glad to see the idea executed! I'm also ombre dip dying my strips of lace in swatches of orange and gray. Hope it turns out!

  • can u also make a video on cardigens(spelling?) and those high black tight skirt things (idk the real name) cos i cant find one enywhere!!!

    Thx for ur vids!! XD

  • how hard is this? (beginner, intermediate, advanced?)

  • @Spoofs2themax I think intermediate

  • @lx3lally ok thanks :)

  • lol i shouldve listened to my grandma when she was teaching me how to sew with a sewing machine(it was old thoO_O one of those really old manual ones).xD

now i want to know how to sew>_>

-> How to make a dark blue skirt ! Part 1.

  • Wow I love your style! Thanks so much for posting! :)

  • that's really cute.

  • Thats a nice tip. Thanks for sharing.

  • I like so much the last one (the white & black skirt), did you have a tutorial about how to do this skirt? :D thanks

  • gorgeous.

  • You did a great job!

  • Cute skirt...but it was kinda hard to follow what you were doing because your cam was too close when you explained the steps. :) Good explanation but visual view was kinda hard.

  • thanks a million for postinq.

    please continue(:

  • OMG I HAVE THAT SEWING MACHINE! YAY i was looking for someone to have it u are my hero

  • i love u already please make more videos i think im going to be obsessed with u

  • O, my mistake! I thought this was another video for the threadbanger contest. Sorry :(

  • This seems alot more complicated then the other entries, plus she has a BRAND new sewing machine

  • that shirt your wearing looks cute though i cant see it that much.lol where did u get it?or did u make it?

  • such a beautiful skirt, really..

  • u should have put the skirt on so we could have a better look at it

  • @ashleenguyen1 Yeah I think it would be better to see the outcome...

  • tht wud make a cute shirt!

  • I HAVE YOUR SWEATER OMG!!! hahaha love em nails girl ... you rock x]

  • wow i wished i knew how to sew a shirt or anything but im not sure how to wire the sewing machine

  • @MsLovan aww you can try to google your sewing machine. maybe even someone uploaded a tutorial on it on youtube! i was lucky enough to have an instructional dvd to explain it

  • yeah, you should actually start uploading your fashion videos on your 2nd channel :)

  • I like this video because you are actually making the skirt, not just pointing on the finished piece how to do it.

  • Wow, it's so cool that you can make your own clothing. I guess you won't run into the problem of someone else wearing the same skirt as you. ;]

You should definitely stick with this channel. You can't have the good without the bad, and this is where you built yourself up! It'd be easier for both the viewers and you if you put all your efforts into one channel instead of dividing it between two.

  • will the measurements work for anyone, or are they based off of your size?? what sizes would this skirt fit if i were to make it with your measurements??

  • @babyv2992010 Oh good question! This skirt was for my measurement! If you make one, you should just measure your waist and hip, then you will know the waist = top band and the hip = the widest part of the skirt! Always add about 2 inches so you have some room to sew!

  • hi there(: just wondering, what sewing machine is that? because i'd like to start learning how to sew but i'm a complete noob and dunno anything about sewing! thanks(:

  • @viickietoriah Good Luck! Sewing becomes easy with some practice

  • @viickietoriah I'll put a link to the machine on the description box =)

  • thank you! (:

  • nicee tutorial! this is such a cool project to do

anyways, i think that if you're going to use the new channel (which seems a good idea to me if you want to start over again) just strictly use that one for everything fashion, makeup, and etc. otherwise i feel that for you and me, as a subscriber, it's just such a hassle. just a thought(: no matter what though your subscribers will be there for you always!

  • @lalalalipstick Thank you for taking your time to reply to me. Okay I'll take that into consideration

  • wow very pretty! it sbenn along time scnece i have sewed.. becayse my sewing machine broke.. sad sad

  • love my shoutout and of course the skirt :] i still need to find a matching top. thankyou so much!

  • @xcorinnaaa your welcome! haha what about a black flowy top or one of those structured tops

  • That's so pretty. :D

  • Very cute, great job hon. Big hugs.

    xoxoxo

    jackie

  • @creativejackie831 Thank you *

  • Hey , awesome skirt, i wish there was a costco near me!

i bought a sewing machine for the same price, and it has not even half of half that yours has :(

anyways keep up the good work!

Do you take requests for tutorials on sewing too?

  • @xsweetshakesx Sure if I have the time, I can try
