He hates sin, as you have pointed out. What makes what this church is doing wrong is that the assume God has no want to love everyone. It says "anyONE loving violence, His soul certainly does hate". Meaning, if anyone is loving violence, God hates that individual as a person; not merely his sin. God hates his sin, AND he who commited it.

Ergo, God does not just hate sin. He can hate the sinner as well.
