  • you need to turn your camera a 45 degree angle dude

  • Never seen this before, pretty rad idea.

  • I had some sort of an idea that that was how its done.. what sort of material is normally used/or is best to use for the cut out design? Is it a foam/rubber/plastec, etc..

  • haha he always likes to go both ways

  • my neck is in 45 deg angle...

    although good job mate..

  • the camara man is a retard, your video views could drop from aswholes filming like they are on crack, good technique!

  • Hey man, what kind of material did you use for that flame? And where did you find it?

  • awesome, i was laying sidways already and the movie looks fine! And "how to upholstery" makes as much sense as "how to car"

  • hey do u have videos of how to do the interior of a car i wud love it if u did i wana learn how to do them u can reach me at mmimi_19@yahoo.com thanks

    great Demo

    RM

  • what kind of foam did you use for the flame and what brand adhesive did you use

  • "How to UPHOLSTER"? or is it "How to: Upholstery"

  • Nice job buddy u could also use foam and mold it out with fiberglass but nice work!

  • Very good instructional video..get down, bro...keep up the good work

  • whats kind of fabric did you use or can it be done with just about any fabric..?

  • whats the top fabric called

  • Cool work!! looks nice!

  • What is this upholstery technique called or titled?

  • hahaha! at 1:36 he says " he likes to go both ways" XD "to get the right spots"!!!!! XDD

  • Is that vinyl top foam?

  • WHAT KIND OF GODDAMN FOAM ARE YOU USING????????????

    We all want to know

  • It's closed cell foam usually found at upholstery supply house. Usually use 1/4" thickness for what he's doing. see my 1939 chevy video

  • Sorry didnt mean to yell.

  • @yobarry that was funny!!

  • what is it that he uses to make it pop out? foam?

  • Theres one thing that is bugging me, he doesn't talkk about the foam. How thick is it? It looks to be like 1/8th inch thick to me. Also, what kind does he use?

  • is this camera man fuckin retarded

  • @donkeykong8u LMFAO AHAHAHAHA

  • bad ass

  • these kinda guys flood the market with shit work at cut thoat prices. Probley rat roddin a honda

  • If you're good, you'll get business lining up out the door, if you don't have that, it's your own fault, not the fault of amateur upholstery work

  • What material did he use for the design? Also what kind of adhesive? I seen some that look kind of like the bottle he uses at an auto store for auto trim, will that work?

  • i think its 3M supper 77

  • you can use either 3m professional strength or 185 pro spray can glue. the material was probably tweed or unbacked speaker box carpet since those are the only materials that will behave that easily without heating it to conform to the edges of the flame. foam was cut out for the flame. if you use leather or vinyl, it's a whole nother ball game and it usually bubbles or loses fit on curved or complicated designs.

  • @sirbinni can you elaborate on how to make it take its shape

i opend my car to find its full of mold so im ripping every thing out of it and plan on doing a custom design i want to use leather but i cant afford so im going to use pleather

  • HE SAID BOTH WAYS!!!

  • What material did he use for the flame?

  • that's very nice and creative.

  • I've seen that effect before, pretty neat to see how easy it is, though I assume you don't leave the cardboard underneath unless you're putting it on the inside of a car door or whatnot eh?

  • hey what materials do you use to put in the design in

  • i have no idea what you are trying to do

  • Good thing whoever was running the camera didn't do it or it would have been sideways.....

  • I like that you made it simple what type of adheisive did you use.

  • For Auto Upholstery in Granite City ,Illinois -please check out my video, thanks.
