Because of that you wanna leave but no mater where you go you will not feel at home till you are back in the middle of no where in a podunk town doin what you love to do. Miami is a great town, I've lived here my whole life, except when I left for college and then returned. The only thing I would like to improve in the area is a grocery store--Carters in Vinita is really nice. But there are not a bunch of druggies here or crime. The area probably has as much yearly crime/drugs as 2 days in Tulsa. People always want to relive the past, gripe about the present, and dream about the future.

Chris, I let you get away with this because you lived it. I miss it. I'm 3rd generation Miamian. (even though I've been in Austin for 20 yrs) She is a shadow of her former self, but I thank God that I lived there and had the parents I had that knew everyone and everyone knew them. I never smoked pot and only know what a meth addict looks like from posters at the local high school. I get sad when I go back to Mud. i love how that stain of a town is made to look like a glorious southern heaven in this video, when in reality the whole place looks as junk as that closed down BF Goodrich plant. the Coleman theatre doesn't even look that great. 90% of the population are either potheads or meth addicts, add are all casino junkies out at Buffalo Run.
