  • Gorgeous horses nd brillant riders x

  • :)

  • i ride bareback*

  • whats the point in saying she NEEDS a helmet?? its not the law to wear a helmet ride bareback with no helmet it depends on how much u trust ur horse! i trust mine to ride around his paddock with no saddle no bridle and no helmet with a herd of horses right next door. and also i love ur horses they r so cute!

  • I would a HELMET!!!!!! But it looked like you had good fun!!!

  • :57 get some lessons before putting your horse in danger over your little information of jumping

  • My bay mare is an ArabxWelsh! I love them so much!

  • @MultiHorsejumper Fascinating.

  • 1:00 ........ew. :s

  • I have a 16.3hh bay standardbred too! He still needs lots of training tho.

  • cool xx

  • srry but it loks like you toke pics off of the tv

  • Amazing balance and connection ! We're all just jealous you know ... Congrats on your horsemanship.

  • you both need to wear hats.

  • no helmets?!??!

  • awsome vid!!!

  • Girl in the orangish red shirt:

You look great but when you jump it might look better if you arched your back a little because your really hunched over... my brother got points taken off in a show because he looks sorta similer to that.. Not trying to be mean... Just saying :)

  • U should be wearing a helmet even if it is a really quiet horse because anything could go wrong

  • Okay, for all the people saying you've known your horses for X amount of years and they would NEVER do anything to hurt you? One of my good friends chose to ride without her helmet and her horse got stung by a wasp and bucked her off. She ended up with a bad concussion and amnesia. They can be unpredictable. I love my horses but seriously? Why take the risk of getting seriously injured "just to feel the wind in your hair"? I know I would like to be alive to continue riding for as long as I can.

  • i like your video but i have to agree with other people here that i don't think you should be teaching as you yourself don't have a good jumping position. You fold way to much and stand up. ( i'm not saying my the best rider in the world and i also have faults) But i would advise that you practice you jumping lower and push your bum back in the saddle rather than 'jumping' out of it. Also i agree a helmet wouldn't hurt :)

  • you shouldn't be teaching people to jump if your own jumping position is really bad...

  • @saminiky she doesn't actually have a bad jp, and her friend is doing all the right things considering it was her first time jumping. Different people, different styles, different instructors, different countries .......................................... xx :)

  • @missponyluver11 okay, if you look at (for example) 1:48 or 2:07 and you find that a good 'jp' , I feel sorry for the horses/ponies you ride. But, as you said, everyone his/hers own opinion.

  • wow i love your eq!!!!!!!!

  • my hat saved my life if you don't wear one then you are lucky to still be hear but one day you might not be so lucky

  • helmets are definatley a great idea. Its ur choice, im not telling you to, just saying its much safer for your life.

  • PLEASE wear a helmet.

  • I hope you dont get hurt not wearing helmets... I have a new Charles Owen

  • <3 standardbredds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What is the name of that song?!

    Cool video :-)

  • lovely horses :) x

  • WOW That was so good

  • the palamino looks just like my baby! Is the girl in the red jersy in a veiw hill jersy?

  • @PonieGirls yep thats my mate in my jersey, from back when i used to ride for VH

  • @GangstaRat Cool! I ride for veiw hill pony club too!

  • @PonieGirls Do you have your own horse or do you ride a kowhai one?

  • Looked like you guys had fun! You and your friend have great position(: And lovely horses.

  • gorgus horses

  • gorgeous horses! Lovely vid :)

  • Where is your helmet?

  • @Chryslovesherhorses You don't always need a helmet to ride. I don't ride with a helmet but I take the consequences. I have had concussions, broken arms, ext. Some riders don't like wearing helmets because it makes it hot, their ego, and other reasons. But people don't need to wear helmets everytime they get on a horse. I don't wear helmets and I started jumping crosscountry, and I run barrels. So let her ride the way she wishes.

And yeah, im am relaxed, i have amazing horses, amazing friends, amazing family, amazing bf and generally, a fucking good life. No chip on my shoulder, just stand up for myself and what is right. Dickhead

  • @GangstaRat i was just saying to myself umm i think its good you teach your friend with a hat i fall of lots of times jumping one of my ponys don't like it but anyway if she fell off she could really hurt herself. :) nice video though great jumping!!

  • Wow lots of fun (:

    your a good rider xD

  • like i sed in ur other vid, the "experts" have appeared to let u know every little mistake, and they can get lost!

ur horses, ur riding, ur life, and u've obviously had alot of fun. just ignore them coz i have to say ur very lucky :) hope i get my own horses when im older.

  • no affence or anything... at 0:59 ur two point is really rounded. A TIP: try arking ur back or lowering ur stirrups. and dont worry i had the exact same prob a few months ago.....

  • @graceland4life123 I am well aware of this fact thank you very much. Notice the description - JUST FOR FUN. If i cared about your opinion, or anyone elses, i would have asked for it. You had the problem a few months ago, i have that problem years ago. This video is very old. So sorry sweetie, but fuck off.

  • hey do be so bitchy they are only giving u advise if u didnt need it just say its in a nice way

  • @GangstaRat shut the h*** up GangstaRat graceland4life123 is TRYING to give u advice!

  • @GangstaRat .. er, thats not very nice ... graceland4life were only commenting (disable your comments if you dont want comments) .. and they did say ''no offence or anything"" ...so before you slate me for calling you up on it .. here it is .... you should be called feralrat you miserable uptight nasty inbred pikey new zealand feral farm girl... get a grip and get a life .. and maybe smoke a joint or two as crikey you have chip on your shoulder and need to RELAX

  • @GangstaRat Wow that was a bit bitchy of you about what you said to graceland4life123. But that's not the only reason why I'm commenting. I know this was posted a few years ago but, like everyone else is saying, HELMET!!! Also don't you think it's a bit.. oh idk... IDIOTIC to have your friend jump when it was only her FOURTH TIME ON A FREAKING HORSE!!!!! God people like this piss me off. She was jumping, a VERTICAL at that, with no helmet and only being on a horse four times. UGH!!!

  • man all these people commenting about ur helmet stupid im pretty sure if they own there own horse and they r just mukin around they probs dnt wear one man ayy an u good rider looks like it i always ride wid out a helmet if im doing accual work like showjumping xc sometimes dressage so oon ill use one but if im getting my old horse who i know generally wont bolt unlike my 5 yr old i dnt anyways nice video i luv it

  • are you gypzies cause u aint wearin a ridin hat ?

  • wtf who said gypsy dnt wear hats she might not want to

  • its dangerous !!!! any way it looks like u dont have any experiance eatther?

  • acuually im vey experienced im not the best but im in the top group riding skewl and we now its dangerous thats the risk we are willing to take and if im going out on the rode at the lesson riding on me own shows jumping most the time xc it use one but if im just mucken around or going over smalll jumps i dnt worry like i only go on my old boy i would never go on my green 4 yr old

  • shut up holz, lots of people ride occassionally without hats... yes it may be slightly dangerous, but it's more fun to have the wind through your hair, and no ones stupid enough to do it on spooky horses, so shut your face untill you've tried it yourself and realised what a joy it is!

  • Ur a good rider

  • Standarbreds~ Nothing "STANDARD" about them! They have to be the greatest all around horses EVER!

  • looks like you had a fun time!! :)

  • im from jersey

  • Helmets doesn't hurt y'know.. :3 Hope you had fun at least.

  • heehee, i wear a helmet, but i know people who dont, my sister once just forgot to briong it, so rode without. i do cause im paranoid XD

  • Shut the hell up about the stupid helment thing already! Do you people actually have nothing better to do with your time than criticise??

and thanx to all the people leaving nice comments, your stars haha :)

  • good rider, took me way longer than that to jump,

also r u from new zeland???

if u r, kool, i know a guy who used to live there.

  • yup im from nz haha

  • i live in NZ too!! I live in the BOP. What bout you?

  • looked fun,

im confused about others though, i'm only seeing pics of people riding :S

  • the vid would be so much better if there was some actual video footage. photos over repition is naff.

  • I have a simple solution for you; don't watch it if you don't like it and keep your opinion to yourself

  • its only constructive critisism. dont take it personally. im only saying how you can make your video better.

  • if i wanted to make it better, i would have. If i wanted constructive critisism, i would have asked for it.

  • all im going to say is,

if its her fourth time riding a horse,

    a) wear a flippin helmet

    b) why the heck are you even jumping her yet?!??!

  • a) she didn't want to, if not illegal and she's old enough to realise the dangers to herself.

    b) because she wanted to

and c) i know my pony will look after her so she can do whatever she wants.

  • Fail? Oh right, i think i understand. Because a day of fun, riding my horses who were also having fun and not being annoyed of hurt in anyway, with no one falling off, yes .. that must be a fail. Haha idiot

  • bitch

  • so im a bitch cuz im not a fucking retard? i cant wait for the day you hurt yourself badly enough to learn your lesson, i hate ignorant people like you guys.

  • no your just abitch

  • ahaha

  • hahaha i am good with the smart comebacks!

  • Well, they don't have to be perfect. After all the horse was not make kmowing HOW to be ridden! They are having fun!

  • I have a Palimino too

  • shit

  • Um, ChampionEquestrian she was mucking about she porbs dont care about her posistion or 'half seat'. So keep your comment to yourself. Brill horses btw :D Totally adorible!

  • thank you very much! haha

  • Your half seat in some of these was horrible! Please work on them and don't put your bum in the air.

  • ur supposed to put it in the air a lil bit...

  • some people ride just because they like horses.. grow up and take on your own advise... cluelesswonder!!

  • What a beautiful standardbred - so many people think they are just for harness racing. I have a half SB and she's turning into the best horse I've ever had.

Awesome vid - great song! Keep riding!

  • lol y is everyone makeing a big deal about the helmet thing...its her life shes having fun and lived to tell about it...live for today not tommorw ...cute horse :)

  • thank you!

  • Comment removed

  • well thats stupid.. just coz your friend doesnt ride with a helmet doesnt mean you should too especialy if your a noob... hate it when people say ridiculas shit like this ^^^^^^^^^^

  • wow two months ago

  • and i never rode her horse i didnt get to

  • if you dont know the horse and you dont wear a helmet well thats just stupid... i know someone that didnt know the horse and rode without a helmet and is now paraplegic..it just pays to use common sence

  • i know thats its safe to ride with a helmet and when i get to ride which wont be for a while ill try and wear a helmet but the thing is the horse i was going to ride (but didnt) i knew so can we please stop arguing

  • not arguing im just saying its best if your not experianced or dont know the horse to wear a helmet so that beginners look at the vid and would be like oooo they arent wearing a helment so why do i have to... just trying to make it clear to people.. sorry if it was you i said it to.. air clear??

  • yea

  • Wow, bns54913 was only making a sugestion. Although i see where your coming from too (:

your only meant to wear a hat up until your 16, then you only have to in cross country and on the roads, and obv in compettive circumstances :)

    Gorgeous horses :) x

  • good thing i'm 18 then haha. THanks very much :)

  • 18, actually. In the US, anyway. Then you can sign a liability release. You cannot, however, jump without a helmet ANYWHERE but your own property. You can sign all the releases you want to, no barn would ever allow it. My barn won't even let us ride without helmets on the flat, they don't offer the release forms anymore. ... I hate helmets... they're sweaty....

  • Orr right, (:

someone told me it was the the same everywhere. Im from england. (:

  • if your friend is just learning how to jump, why is she not wearing a helmet? She doesn't know the proper form yet and could hurt herself? With those big jumps you take, you could easy hurt yourself and it could only take one fall to get a concussion or crack your skull open. Just a thought next time you go riding, things may seem okay one second, but crash and burn the next.

  • You dont think i realise the risks of my actions? I live for taking risks, i cant help it, its who i am. I only wear helmets when i am on the road, as it is illegal not to, or i am cross country or hunting practise. Its up to me and my friends what we do so stay out of it. If i get hurt, or die, its got nothing to do with you.

  • Whenever anyone is hurt in equestrian sport the media jumps right on it rageing about how dangerous it is. Imagine this; you get hurt, it's all over the local news, and some paranoid mom out their decides to not let her child get involved with horses because you were being selfish and foolish. That's how it effects others.

  • Actually, in New Zealand, there is very rarely, and i mean VERY rarely horse accidents in the paper. Whether it involves a death or not. And if this be the case, then these parents should realise i am being so called "selfish" and "foolish" and get the fuck over it.

  • some people have no idea ayy.. its diffrent if you dont know the horse and you cant ride.. but if you know the horse then go for it.. i do.. its our choice if we want to ride without a helmet (ITS NOT A RULE TO HAVE TO WEAR A HELMET).. by the way beautiful horses (Y) keep the vids coming..xx

  • thanks :)

  • lol, not trying to tell you what to do and whatever...but I got a concussion yesterday from a simple fall...and I WAS wearing a helmet :S

  • sucks to be you then. (that wasn't meant to sound bitchy)

  • lol, yeah, these things always happen to me...I'm accident prone ;)

  • have you ever worn a riding helmet before ? :/

  • Yeah, i just prefer not to, unless im competing. Got a problem with that? ... because its none of your concern

  • heyahh great vid what is the song called ? =D

  • Your on the palomino, Your good, but your friend needs some work! :P cute video

  • Beautiful Standie,

That should be the standies officail song!

  • your horses are beautiful! I love your stb.

  • Haha! I didnt know your standardbred was 16.3 hands! HES HUGE:)

  • Well thats what the height cert said .. until i got him remeasured and now he's 16.1hh haha. Stupid first measurerer person lol

  • Aww. Is your Standardbred still with you?(No offence if he isnt. If he isnt I'm sorry for your loss.) I loved him soooo much. How much do you want for him and how old is he? lol. I want a horse SO bad but my family says "Youre too young, we're not getting you a horse because your sister had one and I(mother) had to look after it!" And I tell you something funny. My sister was riding her horse called Tango one day and she jumped it and she fell in the horse poo! I laughed my head off.

  • yes he's still with me. And sorry i wouldn't sell him for the world! Ive bought him up and saved him from the meatworks and i love him too much to sell! Haha bugga! Never doen that before lol

  • Nice lol. My friend jumped the horse jump and tripped over it and landed in the horse poo lol. I'm selling my horse! lol. She'd probably be to advanced for you though.

  • Can I just say, don't post videos for the sake of it, you lose respect lol. You just repeated photos over and over. Next time try and get lots more photos, and some videos, and put them together for something nice. I'm sure you can do it, just, don't do that weird line thing lol, it was hard to see the photos. But I do love the bay, beautiful horse. Good outline and confident jumper (I think) I'd love to see some video's of both horses jumping with you.

  • all guds i have lots of videos jumping with me etc .. just have a browse!

  • Yeah, I noticed when I did look lol. I really like Laddie, she's beautiful. But is her name pronounced "Lady" or "Lad-ie"?

  • haha he's a boy. So its Lad-e.liek a 'Young Lad' kinda thing. Are you american by any chance? I find a lot of americans pronounce it Lady .. just different way of speaking i guess

  • No I'm Australian, I was pronouncing it like Lad-e or as i put it, Lad-ie lol, but then i thought wait, maybe its lady lol. So then I thought I'd better ask. Sorry about the calling him a mare thing lol. So he's a gelding and Tuss is a mare, right?

  • yup thats right. Sorry for calling you american .. they just always say lady haha.

  • Lol its okay. My friends from other countries, especially America, like it when I say things cause it's different to them lol. I'm happy to do it, makes them laugh lol. I'm buying Oakie in about two weeks and moving her and Ben up closer to me. About a 20acre paddock with tons of grass and the owner only wants two horses on it. So it's all mine. Yay! Look out for the new vid I'm doing soon, of my friend riding her horse EXTREAMLY badly. But it's how she always rides -dies-

  • My best mate rides/used to .. and i HATE it when she rides my two. She's harsh on their mouths and blames everything on them if they do something wrong, or refuse a jump. Where as its just lack of experience on both sides but she takes it out on the horses so i end up kicking her off them. I only let her trek them now, im not gonna put my horses through that anymore

  • My friend thinks my horse's fear is stubboness. I hate seeing her ride, even her own horse. She has such a harsh bit on him, and says she needs it for control, but then she says she can ride him without a halter or bridle. She puts him back in the paddock WITHOUT grooming him, argh, she's just a bad rider and a bad horse owner. I'm NOT letting her ride my new horse AT ALL, EVER because Oakie will buck her off and then she'll most likely start abusing her.

  • your standardbred has a seriously nice topline.

  • HATS !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No thanks. This is none of your concern.

  • Thank you. I'm sorry for the "paralized" comment. I was a bit on the bad side. Now it seems like im saying sorry and everything but dont think im a freak. I'm just saying. And your Standardbred is beautiful. There is a standardbred at my barn; I feel bad for it. It never gets taken care of..

  • feal? Feel... And i kno the thrill of riding. I've ridden without a helmet. Just never cantered bareback without a helmet. I'm on the safe side thank you.

  • Which is our point. Fair enough if you chose to ride with a helmet everytime. A lot of people do. But do not critise me for not. Its my choice and none of your business.

  • If she doesn't ride with a helmet, its her choice. If she falls off and has permanent brain damage, her problem not yours. Accidents happen, whether you wear a helmet or not. Although whilst teaching ellie to jump you should have made her wear a helmet. Why is the palomino's legs in between two poles when jumping? there isn't even room for her to land and take off? or was it a spread and the angle makes it look directly behind???

  • it was an upright jump with a dropper .. the white pole in the back ground was a guiding pole .. to the side of the jump. Yes i know ellie should have been wearing a helmet .. but she didn't want to and she rode better without it. Im not gonna make my best friend do something she doesn't want to. it was her choice. But thanks for your concern L(

  • Ah, lol i was really confused and that. And no, you can't force her, but I don't see how she can ride better without a helmet, it doesn't make much difference when you ride unless its to big/small.

  • Uh;; Hello.

    I believe i can read.

  • no i am watching the video

bloody hell there some stunning photos in there hun

    well done

you and i dont give a fuck if you dont have a hat on

its your head not ours do what you want and keep having fun

  • haha good bitch!! Some people need to chill .. and have fun .. and take risks! You sound just like me haha.

  • haha yep i have a hat on when i ride on the road

say you are walking in the field and a random thing pops into your head 'oh lets just get on and cater to the gate that will save me walking there' lol haha both my horses are 3 and there used to my mad ways by now iv got a video of me getting on my horses from the ground as they are lying down lewi is like ok il stay hear its me next haha

that Babiigrl202 person needs to feal the thrill of riding like that its amazing

  • haha i agree with the random thought thing! .. yes .. she does haha

  • Just thought i should say..(from reading the other commentsz)

You might not care if you hurt yourself. But riding helmets truly are a good invention FYI. ANd maybe you should use one. I'm sorry if you get paralized by having a trajic fall.

  • as it clearly says in the video ONE RANDOM DAY so called cowboys dont have hats on hay iv got a video of me cantering bare back to head coller or saddle then i stand up and slid of her bum why dont you go try it its called having fun Babiigrl202 and if you fall of a horse with a hat on your still likly to end up paralized so why not go out with a bang you realy would be the od one out at my yard
  • I always wear a helmet when riding on the road. Im sure you wont be sorry if i get paralysed because you will never know and you dont know me so why the fuck should you care. I take risks, its what my life is about. Get the fuck over it.

  • you know, helmet is a pretty good invention...

  • Love the sarcasm. However, i do not give a fuck what people think. If i hurt myself i hurt myself. It is non of your concern.

  • whats this song called? an nice vid

  • life is a highway - tom petty

  • Great vis would be better with a hat (only my humble oppinion)

  • nice vid!!!

  • riding hats are always a gd idea!!! n in one the pics the riders was wearing dolly shoes :S

  • Yeah .. i said thsoe arnt the best shows to ride in, but she coped haha .. Shes not a rider so doesn't have any gear and the other lily was wearing my 2nd pair and my 3rd were getting repaired. Helmets .. its my choice, if i get damaged, yeah its my fault, i know that , but i prefer riding without helmets.

  • you stupid ppl show the same pics every time :S
