  • I have been inundated with this new variety of ant. Is anyone else having a problem with them, here in Tampa FL? They are everywhere In the house, the yard and even in the brick street. I have spent a small fortune with the pest control company, but nothing works. I think the next step is buying a flamethrower or an anteater!

  • orange OIL ORANGE OIL , FOUND ON AMAZON.

  • USE ORANGE OIL

  • They really mess with the toll booths here in Houston....destroying electronic equipment.

  • They Recorded with an Calculator -.-?

  • 1:21 = Tom Rasberry about his Ants...

  • Is it legal to keep anteaters chained up outside of your house?

  • MOAR LIEK, crazy mexican ants, taking our american ant's jerrrbs and land!!!!11

  • I live in Texas & I've never seen these ants lol

  • USE ORANGE OIL SPRAY

  • Man they just won't let that reporter finish his sente

  • Damn Texas, you scary!

  • I hope they don't come to my state

  • @StarWarsAddict527 Same. I'm in WA.

  • Pray them away, Texas.

  • Were 2 doses of Tom Rasberry a' wranglin' these ants necessary in the same video?

  • Lol, ok, I know these buggers, we had tons of those before, lived with them for years. They are attracted to the sound that electricity makes, that's why they go for electrical sockets and computers and stuff. With a crawling baby in the house at the time, poison was not an option. You can use baby powder, or even cinnamon powder, it's not poison, but what it does, is smother them. So we basically just managed to keep them outside of the house, it works :)

  • all up and down hwy 59.... and all over 1960 and perry road area

  • Can't they just use bait to kill the queen.

  • when did bill gates become a pest expert?

  • 1:03 What the fuck? You're not allowed to just name an insect after yourself just because you don't know what they're called. I seriously doubt that these ants were discovered for the first time by an exterminator in Texas.

  • @donniedarkodevotte I'm an an exterminator and I go way out of my way to identify pest species (exact species) for customers (and to slake the thirst of my own curiosity). And you are damned right..."Well...I don't know what they're called...they move crazy...I found 'em...I'll name them." that shit just doesn't cut it. There are several species of crazy ants (yes, even the books call them "crazy ants"), but I've never heard of "raspberry" crazy ants.

  • @donniedarkodevotte According to my professor from UTPA and other sources: "It is estimated that there are some 10 quintillion (10,000,000,000,000,000,000) individual insects alive. In the world, some 900 thousand different kinds of living insects are known." So yes, anyone can go to their backyard, and discover an unknown species, and give it a name, but only because there's so many uncover species. Crazy ants relates to their irregular pattern of invading, so it isn't an irrelevant name.

  • @therino1

Stop reading the stories on Yahoo's top page.

  • @therino1

Also, 900 thousand represents 80% of the known species. You can't go by each individual insect. So really, there aren't that many species of insects NOT known.

  • Nuke them

  • These are infiltrator ants trained by the Russians to hit our intertwebs before the Russians invade.

  • Id rather deal with fire ants, at least they don't fuck up my electrical devices.

  • it is a big problem they will eventually get in the house!

  • Mother Nature's way of stoping us from killing the planet. They are going to destroy electronics and power plant's, and knock us back to the horse and buggy day's. Lol..

  • How to solve one invasive species problem: Introduce another invasive species!

  • yea i live in chattanooga, tennessee and they r fucking crazy..i noticed them a few days ago on my laptop but b4 that they are all outside of house. then they get all on me

  • I have the same problems, but the ants that are infesting in my electronics are dark ants. They are infesting everything electronic. I would rather have red ants because you can kill them easily, and they aren't attracted to your home electronics. We have a big situation on our hands folks. Be prepared for more to start cropping up. I live in washington state too.

  • Infiltrator ants are testing ways to disable our electronics! NoooooOO!

  • Well that's it, we're all dead

  • I guess we finally found something in Texas Chuck Norris can't knock out. lol

  • they're in our yard

  • Move to a place with a decent winter. Nothing like a couple of months of below freezing weather to take care of insect problems.

  • god bless wisconsin :)

  • How dare you kill my ants

  • They just need better marketing.

    How about

    "Crazy Rasberry Beret Ants"?

    ~

  • *golf clap*

    Well played. :)

  • what a waste of time

  • doom

  • We moved here last year to Harker Heights and the house we rented had ants in the electrical socket. It took me a month to kill them by dunking one day into an ant bait trap. My husband poured boric acid in there. Then tonight, I was on the phone with my mom and I just moved 2 days ago to a new place. All of a sudden ants have been coming out of my computer. My mom told me about these ants. I'm wondering...how do I report one?? One just went under my escape key!! AHHHHHHHHH, help!

  • harker heights and killeen suck. Im sure you would agree.

  • obviously you have no taste because you use the word "suck"...get some class and yes they're not the greatest places...but Heights just got 10 times better w/ their new shopping center...I've been places much worse

  • Spoken like a true tool. Just because there is a new place to take overpaid GI's money doesn't make some place better, it makes it a more exploitative.

  • The invasion has begun! It's all over people, we don't have a prayer!!

  • Crazy like tiger mosquito in lucky bamboo

  • ants can really kill... I know...

  • neat crickets

  • thats alright, im sure no one in texas would like you either.

  • wow, i better check the backyard and see if i can find any
