What the hell are you talking about? There are no serious third parties in the USA. The greens and the libertarians won't ever get more than 1, maybe 2% of the vote apiece. And a resurgence third party would necessarily split one of the other two major parties. The problem isn't the number of parties, because any new party to come along would arguably be just as bad. The problem is you don't vote out the scum that's already in there. People somehow usually like who they elect....
