Thank you for sharing the history of the Black Deaf in American schools. You should teach a class for an ITP program. The schools don't know or don't care to know about the history of Black Deaf people. In fact RID is doing a good job of setting up requirements that eliminate most black community intepreters in the name of professionalism. While allowing few blacks to pass their subjective interview portion of the Certification exam.
