I just got dobe tuning a ws6 with heads cam longtubes and a true ram air not the fake that comes stock and it puts down 478hp at 6700rpms and 456 torque at 4800 rpms and its still very streetable only prob is it still got a 10 bolt so i have to be easy with her for now but this is a american v8 dont ever underestimate

shit i do that in my TA everynow and then....these cars are fantastic. they had a few flaws from the factory but the motor is rarely one of them....slap a cam in this thing and some lontubes exhaust and a cold air intake and you have a fucking beast pushing 400-445rwhp easy. god forbid you put on a converter and suspension and procharger like im getting ready to do.

@CockYaLegS i dont know whos been filling you full of garbage.....but there are plent of cam,bolt on cars making well over 400rwhp. a cam swap adds 45-70 rwhp easy. much less with bolt ons and a good tune. its normally always in the tune. but yes that is easily attainable. my stock ws6 was a factory freak and hit in the 320's on a loaded dynojet multiple times. after all my bolt ons and etc....im hitting 360....and with this new texas speed cam thats currently about to be finished up...400+

I've got a 2002 TA convertible that easily tops 150, and its not even WS6. I dont know why you clowns think that they won't do it. Seriously just drive one, they arent very expensive. hey doubleyous6 they are more then capable of 160 plus... i have a formula lt1 and a z28 lt1. the z28 with 373 gears and the windows down i have been up to 155 on the bayside before traffic that was at about 5800 rpms. the formula has the stock 273 from the factory and even though it takes some time it does well over 160 and its a stock 1994 formula with 198,000 on the od no shit.
