  • @PEEFSMASH If you watch the video you'll see that you cannot tech the ground with most characters including all of top tier

  • How come at the beginning Snake cancels edge slip animation on frame 8 but then it says his edge slip animation lasts 27 frames and cant cancel it?

  • @manoloegghead oh ok, forget it, on the 8th frame you can ONLY control horizontal movement, not cancel animation.

  • I've been forcing this whole "edge slip" thing long before it had a name. Old news, but helpful I guess.

  • 0:33 Please stop calling controlling horizontal momentum "DI". We know what you mean, but it perpetuates the incorrect usage of the term and newer players might confuse it with Directional Influence.

  • this game is getting more pathetic over the time, seriously, ther are discovering locks, locks and more way to do infinites.

    i want leave this clear, i am not a brawl hater, i play it and enjoy it, but as a competitive game is a lame smash. this game is full of locks than dont need so much skils

    is true, in melee are locks too, but, are 100 times more dificult to do.

    i engoyded the video, was well made. but is a shame only see locks and unfair things :/

  • great vid, I always wanted some clarification, especially on the characters. I often upsmashed with DK off the edge and characters I was sure would fall and get fsmashed hit me with moves or got away. thanks.

  • Ivysaur's uair from below the platform is a great option for the edge slip, which I've been using forever. Once they fall, either fsmash or bullet seed if you're feeling lucky.
