My brother worked at Valley ice in Lincoln Ne when he was in college.
He could pick up a 300# block with an ice hook in each hand and hold his arms out straight at the shoulder.
they have a floor system that can make hundreds of blocks. The place is so old they used to cut ice and warehouse it in the winter
