@1985HotRod I can't be sure but I believe it was this match. The thing is, there was a lot of people shooting on each other back then. People would perform the moves unsafely and in painful ways because of backstage disputes, they did so professionally without getting into real brawls. I read about this match being a famous incident, yet I didn't notice anything either

Didn't Hardcore Holly beat Dupree in real life after this match? I saw the Holly shoot interview where he said he stomped a mud pie in dupree for getting him into legal trouble with a parking ticket that cost holly thousands of dollars and wasted time. Can someone tell me if this is the match.

@jhniscol - This is true, and while Holly is a good wrestler, I feel this speaks more of the complete lack of ability present in the Cruiserweight Division these days. Actually, it speaks volumes on the complete lack of talent in ANY division these days.
